Repairing The Heart Part 1, Chapter 38
At the Quartermaine mansion, in Lila's rose garden, Elizabeth and AJ had just said their vows, and everyone was celebrating. Lila Rae was looking for Alec, who didn't show up for the ceremony, but then Alec arrived with a woman. "Why didn't you make the ceremony?" Elizabeth asked. "I'm sorry, I want you to meet my mother, Brenda," Skye said as she came by. "Brenda! Why are you here?" Skye yelled. "To see my son. We need to get along and understand that our children are dating," she replied. "Maybe."
"Where is Lorenzo?" Brenda asked.
Genevieve and Alistair were talking.
"Alistair, how are you feeling about yesterday?" she asked.
"Good. I'm going to be a good father to our children," he replied. Emily then came over.
"Alistair," Emily said.
"Emily," he responded. "I remember giving birth to you," Emily added. Nikolas then approached.
"Emily," Nikolas said. "Nikolas, Alistair is our son. Rebecca isn't his mother. I remember giving birth to our son," Emily insisted.
"Emily, I wish I had been there for you," Nikolas said.
"It's not your fault. All we can do now is move forward," Emily responded.
"Yes, I'm glad you remembered me," she said.
"Me too," he replied.
Elizabeth and AJ shared their first dance as husband and wife.
Lorenzo was drinking, upset that Skye wanted a divorce.
"I have to get my wife back," Lorenzo said, grabbing his keys.
Back at the Quartermaine mansion, in Lila Rae's garden, Elizabeth and AJ danced.
"I'm so happy," she said.
"Me too," he replied.
Skye was very upset about Brenda's return.
"Mother, I don't know your history with Brenda, but I don't want it to come between Alec and me," she said.
"I'll try," Skye responded.
"Thanks," her daughter replied.
Alistair and Genevieve were talking.
"Do you want to dance?" he asked.
"Yes, I have time," she answered.
"My father is picking me up soon. He wants me to meet my brother," she explained.
"Oh," he said. "He's so hurt about the divorce. I'm so worried about Daddy."
"I'm sure he's okay," Genevieve said when she saw her father's car in the driveway.
"Daddy, here," she called.
"Are you going to say goodbye?" she asked.
"No, it will be okay. Alistair, I love you," she said.
"I love you too. I'm sorry I was a fool," he responded.
"Me too?" Genevieve said and then left.
Lorenzo was in his car, in the driver's seat, when Genevieve entered.
"Daddy, you're driving," she said.
"Yes, I am," he replied.
"Does Lila Rae want to come?" she asked.
"I didn't ask her," he answered.
"Oh. Well, let's go," she said.
"Daddy, are you okay to drive?" she asked.
"Yes, I am," he replied, and Lorenzo started to drive, though he was having a hard time seeing.
