Repairing The Heart Part 1, Chapter 4
At General Hospital-Monica was conducting some tests on Rebecca and didn't know how to handle everything. "I know you're scared, but I'm your daughter," she said. "I saw your body after you were murdered. It doesn't make sense." "I don't remember much," Rebecca replied. "Where have you been all this time?" Monica asked. "I only remember waking up in the hospital in London, and Nikolas was in the room with me, along with Alistair, who claims to be my son," Rebecca explained. "We will figure this out," Monica assured her. "Yes," Rebecca nodded.
In the hallway-Nikolas and Alistair were there. "I know this isn't easy. She keeps pushing you away, but try not to take it personally," Nikolas said. "I'm trying," Alistair replied. Skye and Genevieve arrived at the nursing station. "We are here to see Britt," Skye stated. "Yes," Elizabeth confirmed. As Genevieve looked over and saw Alistair, she said, "Genevieve—Mother, he's back." "Yes, I see," Genevieve responded. She wanted to see Alistair but turned away and went with her mother to see Britt.
Alistair looked at Genevieve, still loving her but wanting to keep his mother alive. "Alistair—I love her, Father," he said. "You did the right thing in saving your mother. Even if she doesn't remember me," Alistair added. "Yes," Monica agreed.
In the exam room-Britt was looking at Genevieve, with Skye in the room. "What are we here for?" Britt asked. "I could be pregnant," Genevieve said. "Oh, are you late?" Britt inquired. "Yes," Genevieve replied. "Alright, let's take a look," Britt said, examining Genevieve.
Monica went into the hallway, overwhelmed by thoughts of Emily while AJ approached. "Mother, what's going on?" AJ asked. "Your sister could be alive," Monica replied. "What?" AJ exclaimed. "I don't know all the details, but Rebecca thinks she's Emily," Monica explained. "Mother, you should see—this isn't a scam," AJ urged. "I wouldn't want you to get hurt by this," Monica reassured him.
In the hallway-Britt emerged from the room with Genevieve and Skye. "We will let you know as soon as possible," Britt said. "Can you call my cell phone?" Genevieve asked. "Yes," Britt responded. Britt then left. "Let's go shopping now. Your grandmother still has another hour of therapy," Skye said as Alistair approached. "Genevieve, are you okay?" he asked. "Yes, I am," she replied. "You need to leave my daughter alone," Skye said before leaving. Britt re-entered the room. "Genevieve, just to be safe, I want you to take this new pill for your bipolar—it's a little safer if you are," she advised. "Thanks," Genevieve said.
