Repairing The Heart Part 1, Chapter 25
At Skye/Lorenzo - The next day - Skye was in her bedroom getting ready for the day. She was dressed and brushing her hair when Lorenzo entered the room. 'Lorenzo, you need to knock.' "I'm sorry, I'm just excited because I have some good news.' "What is it?" 'Diego can come home." 'When?" 'Today. I'm going to get him." 'Do you think he's ready? He hasn't been in the real world for years; he's been at the hospital.' 'Yes, and the doctor says it's time. I would never put our children in danger.' Lorenzo said. Skye was thinking that while he was away, she could leave with the children. 'I'll support you, Lorenzo.' Skye said. 'Thanks. After I get back, we can talk—maybe go on a romantic weekend.' 'Maybe.' "Skye, I'll do anything to get us back on track.' "Me too." Let's go downstairs and tell Genevieve.' Lorenzo said. Skye looked at her watch. "It's early. I'm sure Genevieve is still sleeping.' 'Probably. Anyway, I should go.' 'Be safe," Skye said. She kissed Lorenzo goodbye—it was a romantic, farewell kiss. Lorenzo smiled at Skye and left the room, and Skye cried a little.

At Genevieve's room - Genevieve was in bed with all the blankets on her, spread out on the bed when Skye entered. She looked at her daughter and everything in the room, then woke Genevieve up. 'Genevieve.' 'Mother.' 'Genevieve,' she said as she woke up. 'Why are you waking me up?' "We need to talk. Get dressed and meet me downstairs.' 'Yes, Mother.'
At Elizabeth's place - Elizabeth was having coffee when Carolyn came in. She was trying to maintain a good relationship with her parents. "Elizabeth, are you ready for the wedding?' "Yes, everything's almost ready. Besides, it's not my first time getting married.' "I'm sorry we missed a lot of your weddings." 'You missed a lot of my whole life.' 'Yes, we did." There was a knock on the door. It was Emily. 'Emily, I'm here to help you get everything for the wedding.' "Thanks, Mother. I want you to meet my best friend, Emily Quartermaine, and my mother, Carolyn.' "Nice to meet you.' "You too.'
