Repairing The Heart Part 1, Chapter 6
At Kristina's house—Kristina was reviewing the paperwork for her successful talk show when the doorbell rang. It was Carly.
"Carly, why are you here?" Kristina asked.
"We need to talk. I want to know where your mother is," Carly replied.
"My mother went on vacation with Julian. Why do you care?" Kristina asked.
"Because I believe it was Alexis who tried to kill me," Carly answered.
"Well, you're alive and fine. Why can't you just let this go? All this revenge needs to stop," Kristina said.
"So, you're not going to admit that Alexis did it?" Carly pressed.
"I don't know if she did. I'm just asking for all this to stop," Kristina responded.
"Maybe," Carly said. "Carly, do it for Josslyn and Molly. They both would want you to forgive and move on."
"Yes, they would," Kristina agreed, and she left.
At Lila's Hotel-Nina was working in her office when Skye entered.
"Nina," Skye greeted.
"Skye, come in. How are you doing?" Nina asked.
"Sit down," Skye said, starting to cry. "Oh, Nina, it's all a mess."
"Skye, what is it?" Nina asked gently.
"Genevieve might be pregnant," Skye blurted.
"No," Nina said.
"Yes, and I've decided to divorce Lorenzo," Skye admitted.
"Are you sure?" Nina questioned.
"Yes," Skye confirmed. "I'm here for you."
"Thank you. I believe we were both raised to be strong," Skye said.
"Yes, we were. Are you planning to buy a house to live in?" Nina asked.
"Yes. I'm scared. I love Lorenzo, but I think this is for the best," Skye replied.
"Yes, it is," Nina agreed.
At Elizabeth's—Elizabeth was preparing to leave when she opened the door to find a woman on the doorstep.
"Mother," Elizabeth greeted.
At Lorenzo's and Skye's—Genevieve was sitting on the couch, reading and eating a chocolate bar when Lorenzo entered.
"Genevieve, were you a mother?" Lorenzo asked.
"She went out," Genevieve replied.
"Oh, did you go shopping?" Lorenzo inquired, sitting down.
"Yes," Genevieve responded.
"Genevieve, I know you don't want to hear this, but you're going to be found. We named you after my grandmother, who was a strong woman," Lorenzo said.
"What made her strong?" Genevieve asked.
"My grandmother was married to a man like me in the same lifestyle, and she raised six children, losing two of them before she passed away," Lorenzo explained.
"That's sad," Genevieve said.
"Yes, I want you to have her strength," Lorenzo added.
Genevieve was touched by his story.
"I would like to see a picture of her," Genevieve requested.
"I'll look for one, Daddy. I need to tell you something," Genevieve then said. She wanted to tell Lorenzo that she might be pregnant when Lila Rae entered.
"Daddy, is mother here? I have some news," Lila Rae asked.
"Genevieve, can your news wait?" Lorenzo asked.
"Yes," Genevieve answered, upset.
