I put my bowl in the sink and I hear the doorbell ring but Dad beats me to it and opens it up for Abby.
"Abby, how are you?" He asks
"Hi Mr. Carter I'm doing good, you?" She says
"I'm good, Emma should be ready in a little bit" He says
Abby comes into the kitchen as I finish drying the bowl.
"You ready?" She asks
"Yeah, just let me get my backpack" I reply
I go into the living room and grab my backpack. I kiss my Dad on the cheek and kiss Salem on his fur. I say goodbye to them and me and Abby leave the house.
