it has been a few months since max moved in with the wheelers, this day max would be forever thankful for, it was a sunny day, Saturday, max was just relaxing when mike asked her to go upstairs, max has opened up to mikes mom.
- "hey max" holly said.
- "hi holly" max said walking past.
- "max!! Dear, can you sit down?" Mrs wheeler said.
- "yea, whats up?" Max said sitting.
- "well me and ted have been thinking and since you are already living with us why thought you can just be our family so we have decided we want to adopt you!" Mrs karen said putting the papers infront of max.
- "really?" Max said stunned.
- "really, we just need your signature" mike said happy.
- "you guys wont...leave..right?" Max asked with tears.
- "of course not sweetie!" Mrs. Wheeler said.
- "yea we arent like your assholes of a family" ted said, karen gave him a look and he just nodded, max grabbed the paper and quickly put her signature.
- "great!.you can call us mom and dad if you would like to" karen said.
- "okay" max went to give her a hug and it was like things were actually going good for max.
- "isnt this so cool!.im your brother now!" Mike said hugging max.
- "and im your sister!" Holly said smiling.
- "and im your other sister" nancy said joining the hug, max actually felt loved for once.
- "so would you like to change you last name to wheeler?" Karen asked.
- "umm sure!" Max said, she wanted to forget her old family so she can use a change plus maxine wheeler sounded better.
- "lets go for a bike ride?" Mike asked.
- "yea!" Max said, she turned to mrs wheeler and she nodded and smiled.
- "ok race ya!" Mike said running.
- "no fair you got a headstart" max yelled standing there. "Bye...mom" she said trying her best not to remember susan, max ran after mike who already had his shoes and helmet on, max got her things together then went on her bike, she was just following her new brother when he stopped.
- "we are here" he said.
- "dustins house?" Max said confused.
- "yea i wanted to tell everyone the news" mike said taking his helmet off.
- "ok!" Max said doing the same, mike knocked on the door and soon dustin answered.
- "hey guys?" He said.
- "we have news!" Mike said.
- "cool!!.whatsup?" Dustin said smiling.
- "max is my new sister!" Mike said almost yelling.
- "really!!.thats so cool!" Dustin said.
- "yea!!.we are gathering the party and maybe we can all hangout?" Mike said almost asking.
- "well im in" dustin said shutting the door.
- "cool" max said.
- "okay Dustin you go to Lucas's house while me snd max go to will and janes." Mike said
- "got it, meet at the arcade?" Dustin asked.
- "yea!" Mike said getting on his bike, max doing the same.
- "so is it still awkward between you and jane" mike asked standing up pedaling.
- "nah..i dont think so" max answered.
- "good good..so have you figured out if you..like her?" Mike asked sitting down.
- "uh..yea..actually..i think i do, but i dont know...would you support me?" Max asked.
- "of course!!.ya know..im bisexual myself" mike said.
- "really!?" Max said.
- "yea!.i like will" mike stated witch made maxs jaw drop.
- "wow..that's awesome man" max said stopping as they were at the byers house.
- "yea just let me know when you got everything sorted out, okay?" Mike said going to knock on the door.
- "ok!" Max said going up the steps, they waited a few minutes until jane answered the door.
- "we aren't interested in girlscout coo-..MAX!!.and mike!!.hi..what are you guys doing here." Jane said surprised and kind of embarrassed since she had woke up from a nap so her hair was a mess and she was in pjs.
- "we just had some news and wanted to see if you and will wanted to hangout" mike said, mike was starting to warm up to jane since he knows she wont do that to max again..but he is still careful.
- "sure..can i just look presentable?" Jane answered.
- "of course!" Mike said
- "you guys can come in..i think will is in his room..or something" jane said opening the door wider.
- "thanks" max said going in first, jane blushed since max walked past her she can smell her prefume, mike then walked past and it smelled like nachos.
- "ok i will be right back!" Jane said hurrying to her room, they went in wills room and told him about the news, max just sat on the bed while mike and will flirt with eachother, max was thinking how she would know if she liked jane..so she made up a plan.
- "im gonna go check on jane" max said getting up.
- "mkay" mike said still looking at will, max left and went to janes room and knocked on the door.
- "who is it?" Jane yelled.
- "its max!" Max yelled back
- "ok come in" jane said, max opened the door to find jane wrapping a gift.
- "whatcha got there?" Max said closing the door.
- "a gift!!.for you actually." Jane said turning around smiling.
- "oooo..can i open it?" Max said.
- "yea!" Jane said giving it to her, inside was a necklace with a picture of jane and max together.
- "wow it's beautiful" max said holding it up.
- "can you.." max stated before jane interrupted.
- "yes of course" jane said taking the necklace and putting it on max, they were quiet the whole time,
When jane was done max turned back around and smiled, it was a little crooked so jane fixed it, this caused their faces to be pretty close, jane didnt really notice though.
- "there..it was uh crooked" jane said looking up and taking a step back, without saying anything max grabbed janes face and pulled her in for a kiss, it was short but it meant a lot.
- "jane..i like you..alot" max said still holding janes face.
- "me too" jane said pulling max in for another kiss, max thought it really was the perfect day.
