Max woke up before everyone, a few minutes later Lucas got up as well.
- "hey cutie" Lucas said rubbing his eye.
- "hey, why did you kiss my head last night?" Max asked with confusion.
- "what?.I didn't kiss your head.." Lucas answered.
- "oh must of been my imagination" max shrugged off.
- "yea maybe" Lucas said giving her a kiss, just then Jane woke up and saw max and Lucas she rolled her eyes before closing them acting like she is asleep, soon everyone else woke up and mikes mom made breakfast, everyone was talking at the table except Jane she was to busy watching max talk about how Wonder Woman could kill the joker.
- "Jane you okay?" Will nudged her.
- "huh?.yea I'm fine" Jane said blushing a little since she got caught, eventually Dustin had to go then Lucas, max gave him a kiss goodbye then going back in the house.
- "I will just walk home since billy wants to be an asshole" max whispered to herself.
- "you said something?" Jane asked scrunching her nose.
- "oh uh no I was talking to myself " max replied with a annoyed smile.
- "if it makes you feel better my dad is late to" Jane smiled back trying not to blush.
- "yea but billy just wants to kill me!" Max said sharply, Jane flinched at her tone.
- "sorry...it's just annoying" max said with a more softer tone.
- "my dad can take you!..if you want" Jane said trying to not sound to happy.
- "nah it's fine I brought my skateboard" max said rummaging through her bag.
- "oh okay" Jane said a little disappointed, max got up, so did Jane, and max hugged her, it was unusual since max didn't really like giving or receiving hugs.
- "okay see you Monday!" Max said letting go.
- "wait!" Jane quickly said, max stopped and looked at her, Jane shyly walked over to her and cupped her face leaning in, eventually their lips met, Jane was surprised feeling max kissing back, maxs lips were soft, when the kiss was over they both didn't say anything max just nodded and quickly closed the door, as max faded away on her skateboard Jane just stand there not believe what just happened.
- "did you just- I- Jane-" wills said with wide eyes.
- "I love her." Jane said still flustered, max was walking holding her skateboard since it was raining and she didn't want to fall, trying to process what just happened, her friend witch is a girl just kissed her!.but worse max kissed back..max is always going to feel guilty kissing Lucas now..max was questioning if she even likes boys now since she kind of liked that kiss, it was better than Lucas's.
- "god what am I thinking?.I'm straight." Max said to herself, even though her cheeks were burning still.
- "oh hey Max!" A familiar voice called out.
- "Dustin?.didnt your mom pick you up?" Max asked.
- "yea I put my stuff away then came her this is my spot you know" Dustin answered.
- "can-Can I talk to you about something" max asked a bit sadly.
- "sure!.what's up?" Dustin said.
- "ok so when Lucas left it was only me and Jane in the basement and it was normal but then I hugged her since billy wasn't coming and i was leaving but she stopped me then she..she kissed me..and I kissed back and I actually kind of liked it!.but I like Lucas so I can't like girls!" Max said dropping her stuff, sobbing.
- "oh my god, well uh..do you like her?" Dustin said with wide eyes.
- "I don't know.." max answered sitting on the grass.
- "well Monday see how you feel around her." Dustin said sitting next to her.
- "what about Lucas?" Max asked looking at her friend.
- "be honest with him, I'm sure he will understand" Dustin smiled.
- "ok..uh..thank you" max said looking down.
- "yea no problem" Dustin hugged her, max actually hugged back, when the embrace was over max went to her house.
- "hey maxine, how was the sleepover" Neil asked.
- "good we watched a movie" max answered dully.
- "good good, so where is billy?" Neil asked looking around.
- "he never came" max said sitting at the table.
- "that little piece of shit!" Neil yelled stomping out the house.
- "hey maxine" Susan came in wondering what the noise was.
- "hi mom" max said going to her room, she closed the door lightly and jumped on her bed she needed to think about what just happened, the whole day she couldn't stop thinking about Jane, she eventually fell asleep but woke up in the middle of the night, it didn't feel right sleeping after what she did to Lucas, max went on her bike and rode to Lucas's house, she threw some rocks at his window until he opened it once he saw her he immediately ran downstairs and outside.
- "max?.what the hell its 2 in the morning, are you okay?" Lucas said worryingly.
- "Lucas need to tell you something." Max started lucas just nodded.
- "I kissed a girl and it was Jane well technically she kissed me but I kissed back and I like it but I like you to but I think I'm gay?." Max said really fast.
- "woah, so you want to break up?" Lucas said.
- "no but i think I might like Jane." Max said in a desperate tone.
- "here, I am breaking up with you" Lucas said.
- "what?.what if I dont like her?!" Max said.
- "sounds to me you do, have you been thinking about her?" Lucas asked.
- "oh shit." Max said.
- "well it was nice being your boyfriend, we are still friends right?" Lucas asked trying not to be akward.
- "yea dude, night" max answered going on her bike and riding away, she couldn't belive how well Lucas was taking this, maybe he was just tired, max went back to her room and finally slept.
