The next morning you two grab a quick bite at the bed-n-breakfast bar before heading down to the police station. Finding a small spot on a high table in the corner you sit across from Alec enjoying a bagel. "So, do you know what we'll be doing today?" looking at him as he stares out the window he nods no "Though.. if I were to guess we'll probably be caught up with what they found and maybe see some bodies that they have already looked at and see if we can see anything different etc." nodding you take a bite and a sip of coffee. Heading in a car provided by the police department you and Alec sit in the back quietly as you arrive. Heading inside you hear Alec mutter "Just keep quiet until we figure out what to do" nodding you smile a bit following behind him quickly. Passing by a few people in a narrow hallway you enter a large busy room filled with tons of detectives, police officers and others working on other cases. Following Alec you're too busy looking around running into him flushing red embarrassed stepping beside him seeing him smile a bit with a glance shaking the chief of the police department. "D.I Alec Hardy, this is my partner Quinn Carter" shaking her hand you smile "Pleasure to meet you" she says with a small nod.

As the three of you walk and talk heading to an office, you stay quiet following quickly behind Alec as he talks to her. "We've already looked through some of the bodies and their crime scenes. We found that they all are very similar to a murder spree committed by Martin Whitly" she says handing Alec a vanilla folder with some of his documentation. Getting handed the folder you look through it feeling your heart sink saying "This is The Surgeon, is he still active? I thought he was put into confinement" noticing Alec looks at you with irritation you ignore it looking at her. "Yes, he is which is why we are leaning towards a copy cat theory. This person seems to be obsessed with him, the detailing is close in similarity" she says pulling out a pin-board of crime scene images. "Geesh..this is going to be a lot of work.." says Alec leaning against the table behind him as you step up looking at the photos taking a hard swallow. "They tried to copy him and.. they did eerily well.." you say in a shaky tone unable to look away from the photos.

"You know about him?" Asks Alec bluntly seeing you quickly turn around with a nod. "I've always been intrigued in investigating him ever since I was 19 I heard all about him on American news channels when I was younger" seeing him stare surprised you flush a faint pink. Suddenly the police chief talks to you "Let's talk more, we might have a job for you" nodding you follow behind her seeing Alec stare at you as you leave.
