"Me? Chief Morris I don't think I'm ready for something like that, I've only been working beside Hardy for a few years now-" Morris interrupts. "You are clearly prepared for this. You know so much about him that it would be easy for you to interview him. We must figure out what's going on and you could be the one who solves this" feeling your heart race you hesitate before shaking her hand. After getting a quick medical exam and a run down of what will be happening tomorrow you meet Alec outside of the station on the concrete steps. "So?" he asks in his usual ton heading down to the car as you catch up. Hoping back into the car you catch your breath "W-Well, they want me to interview Dr. Whitly.. in person" taking a hard swallow as Alec looks over with wide eyes. "No, you're not ready for something like that-" interrupting him you see his worry making you smile, putting a hand on his arm. "Alec.. I'll be fine" you say seeing him sigh brushing your hand off looking out the window without a word. Sitting in a momentary awkward silence you manage to say "Where are we going?" waiting for a reply you fidget with your hands. "Were being taken to an old crime scene, see if we can find anything that they missed" he says in a heavy tone his breathing short. "Are you sure you can? I mean you only have 4 pills left Alec, I don't think that's enough-" he interrupts looking at you. "How do you know how much I have left?" flushing a faint pink you sit up straight "I keep track of it because I-I care about you" seeing him smile a bit you smile back. Seeing his smile fade you look back down at your lap hearing him say "I'll be fine, besides it's not like we'll be running around or anything" nodding you look over at him seeing his breathing still shorter than normal, brushing it off you keep a close eye on him.

Arriving, you get out with wide eyes seeing all the police tape and other items scattered about, heavy LED lamps lighting up the scene. After going over what they already found you get a call stepping aside as Alec continues to look around the scene. "We need you to start tomorrow morning" you hear Chief Morris say quickly making you widen your eyes. Before you can say a word she hangs up leaving you staring at your phone. "Everything alright?" You hear Alec ask walking up to you. Nodding you put your phone away "Yeah it was just a friend" staring at you for a moment Alec makes you nervous. "There's nothing else I could find, let's head out" he says passing close by you. After being dropped off at the hotel you go to head inside but Alec catches your arm "Common, let's have lunch"  smiling a bit you nod seeing him smile a bit but it fades quickly as he starts to walk, hearing you catch up as always.

After having a nice lunch you two head back to the hotel for a bit before deciding to head out for the night. Coming out of the bathroom in your best night outfit you flush a bit seeing Alec tying a different colored tie looking over at you, stopping what he is doing, staring in awe. Flushing a bright red you stare back with a small smile seeing him smile this time it stays. He quickly finishes up tying his tie, he pulls on his coat walking over to you. "You look stunning" he says sweetly looking you up and down making you feel butterflies in your stomach. Feeling your heart beat fast you two make eye contact staring for what seems like hours. Clearing his throat flushing a faint pink himself he opens the door for you breaking the intense intimate eye contact. 

After a fun night in the club in the hotel you two find your way back to the hotel room feeling very close to one another. After Alec unlocks the door you walk in hearing the door shut bind you. As your turn around you are suddenly kissed, feeling his hands around your waist.
