"Alec I'm back!" you shout hearing him in the shower as you pass by the bathroom, setting down your phone and getting the computer set up. Hooking your phone up to the computer you skim through some of the audio stopping at certain points to hear what's important. Listening with headphones, you widen your eyes hearing the intimate conversation between you and Martin. hearing Alec walk up behind you, you flinch startled "Is everything ready?" he asks standing beside you with a towel around his waist his hair damp from the shower. Gripping your phone in your hands you stutter "Uhm, uh it's nothing Alec really it's mostly quiet besides we can't even hear it" standing up you hold your phone between your tight grip as Alec stares confused. "Quinn its still evidence let me see it" he says trying to grab it but you yank your hand away quickly as if trying to hide something once again. "Quinn, just let me see it!" he says getting irritated as you continue to pull it away until he finally gets it by tackling you onto the bed by your stomach, yanking the phone from your grasp. 

Sitting up you feel your stomach knot as he plays on the speakers at the exact part you left it. The audio plays aloud 'You're the only thing that keeps me sane Quinn I swear..' Alec looks over at you for a second before looking back at the screen fast-forwarding making you even more nervous. The audio plays loud enough to clearly hear Martin call you 'Darling' as Alec stops the audio for a moment leaving the room in a tense silence. Looking over at you Alec clearly wants answers, suddenly you stand up about to rush out but he catches your arm "Hold it Quinn" he says trying not to get upset before he hears what happened. "Alec, y-you must have heard it wrong I-" Alec looks at you with a 'really' face "The audio was clear Quinn.. what's going on in there when I'm not around?" he asks in a soft tone looking you up and down quickly, meeting your gaze. Looking at him you think for a moment "Alec, I can promise you, nothing is going on between us. I would never fall for someone like him, besides it's all for the case until we get answers then I won't ever see him again" Alec nods, pulling you into a snug hold. "I believe you.." wrapping your arms around him you stare out knowing you lied straight to his face thinking 'I had too..' hugging him tighter you close your eyes with a sigh.
