Enjoying Martin's hold, you hear the sound of the door opening, stepping back you see Alec barging in. "Alec, what are you doing here?" you ask hoping he didn't see your embrace with Martin. Alec sighs fixing his coat "I thought maybe I should join you, after all I am on the case as well" he says looking at you then over at Martin with a disgusted glare. Glaring back at him Martin asks politely for you to move. Stepping aside you watch confused as Martin tucks his arms behind his back. "My, my detective, you're a tense one, aren't you?" he says looking him up and down profiling him as soon he walked in. "Don't profile me.. though I guess it's the only entertainment you have" he says with a smirk seeing Martin getting irritated as he walks over to you. Sitting in an awkward silence you Martin and Alec catch glances until you speak. "Alec, I think we should go.." seeing him nod he grabs your things helping you put on your coat, putting a hand on your lower back as you walk out the door in front of him. "Alec maybe we should go get lunch-" turning around you see the door closed and Alec still inside.

Looking at him Martin raises an eyebrow "I sense jealousy, Detective. You seem awfully protective over them.. I can understand why they're quite seditious and you, well.. let's not go there just yet" Martin smirks as Alec glares gripping his fist as Martin paces. "You've got quite the mouth on your there Doctor, I'm surprised they haven't put you down yet" Alec says referring to him as nothing more than a mutt hound. Martin traces his tongue over his top teeth with his mouth closed in irritation. "Now, now, no need for name-calling Alec-" he interrupts with a sharp tongue "It's Hardy to you" he steps forward, his foot on the red line catching quick notice by Martin. As his eyes trail up from Alec's foot Martin nods "Right.. were not that close yet are we" he says with a cheeky grin making Alec even more agitated. Walking right up to him Martin and Alec stand nearly chest to chest glaring at each other for a tense moment before Alec speaks "I don't know what you're playing at but you do something to them and I will make sure your death isn't just a waiting game" Martin smirks leaning in close by his ear "What a dream" stepping back Alec holds back from hitting him and leaves joining you in the hallway, walking past you with a small "Common" as you scurry up beside him looking behind you at Martin's holding cell. Feeling Alec pull you close by your waist as you turn the corner you think to yourself 'This can only get worse..'
