Kyler

After three failed dates, I deleted my profile on Romeo's dating site. What were those idiots thinking by signing me up on that site? The cougar was the last straw.

I sat around the kitchen table with my idiot cousins and played cards while we discussed the situation.

"What do you mean you deleted your profile? Do you realize how much money I spent?" Ryden asked me.

"That's your problem. I didn't tell you to sign me up on a dating site." I shrugged.

"We were trying to help," Roman mentioned.

"Help? I had desperate women trying to jump on me. I'm not Jordin," I retorted.

"Hey, I landed hot women, unlike your disasters in the making," Jordin said.

"Do I need to remind you of your fake baby momma?" Odin looked at Roman. "Give me two cards."

Roman dealt two cards to Odin.

"Give me three." Jordin tossed down three cards.

Roman dealt three new cards to Jordin.

"What kind of shit hand is this?" Ryden asked.

"The kind you always get when your brother deals," Odin said.

"What about the charity event?" Roman asked me.

"I'll figure something out. Give me one card," I said.

Roman tossed me a card.

"Why don't you just ask Rachel to be your date?" Jordin asked.

We looked at Jordin.

"What?" Jordin asked.

"This might be a stupid question. Why?" Odin asked.

"The poor girl deserves a nice after saving his stupid ass from his horrible dates." Jordin thumbed at me.

"It would save me time since I already introduced Rachel to Grammy," I said.

The others looked at me like I had lost my damn mind.

"What?" I asked.

"Are you out of your damn mind? Why would you introduce Rachel to Aunt Larkin, of all people, when you're not dating?" Ryden asked.

I opened my mouth.

"Unless you wanted to get the stamp of approval because you like this chick," Roman said.

Everyone looked at me with arched brows.

"Okay, fine. I like Rachel." I rolled my eyes.

"Don't act like numbnuts here," Jordin thumbed at Odin, "and lead the girl on."

Odin rolled his eyes as we snickered. "I didn't lead Sofie on."

"Oh, yeah? I like you, but I'm still hung up on some chick I met once. Oh, and said chick dated my brother," Jordin said.

"At least I didn't hook up with my cousin's ex like someone else I know," Odin countered.

Oh, Lord. Here we go. Did anyone see that bus coming?

"There's no rule about hooking up with an ex," Jordin said.

"Want to bet?" Ryden asked.

"Why don't we ask Raphael?" Jordin pulled out his phone and called our foul mouth cousin.

"Christ. Here we go," Roman mumbled.

The phone rang a few times before Rafe answered. "What the fuck, Jordin?"
