Chapter 23: Mako's first hero lessons.

Mako lay on the ground, still tied up from Hybrid gadget, waiting for her friends to notice her disappearance. But as she waited, she began a small talk with Venom and asked a question she wanted to ask.

Mako/Spider-Venom: Hey, there's something I wanted to ask you about?

Venom in Mako thoughts: Witch is?

Mako/Spider-Venom: Well, I remember one of our conversations.

*FlashBack*

As Team KAMUI are making their way back to Beacon, Mako and Venom are both having a conversation.

Mako: Hey, so who else did you bond with other than Eddie and (Y/N)?

Venom in Mako thoughts: There were so many of them, humans and many others.

Mako: Did you bond with (Y/N)'s dad?

Venom in Mako thoughts: Yesss, many years ago.

Mako: What was that like?

Venom: It didn't go as we wanted.

Mako: What happened?

Venom in Mako thoughts: We didn't like the no killing rule, that's all.

Mako was confused but decided not to push it and asked about another host.

Mako was speechless with everything Venom had said. But she managed to get some words out.

Mako/Spider-Venom: Wow, that's....a" story. So you hate him for what he did to you?

Venom in Mako thoughts: Exactly, but even though we hate him, there is still a part of us that wants to go back. But we see now that we were better off with Eddie, and now, with you.

Mako/Spider-Venom: Aw, that's sweet.

Venom in Mako thoughts: Don't push it.

As the two were talking, they heard a voice,

???: Who are you talking to?

Mako turns to see a young man holding a briefcase wearing a fully leather suit with a cowl.

Mako/Spider-Venom: Uhhhhhhh, practice a conversation I'll have with a friend soon?

???: Huh, I see? Do you need help getting out?

Mako/Spider-Venom: Uh, yes, please?

The young man walked over to Mako and examined the gadget around her. Then he recognized the gadget and asked.
