No one said a single word as Duncan took control of the aircraft and flew everyone back to the Sky View Observatory rooftop; Powerhouse had disembarked earlier to return his own car from the warehouse back to the observatory's parking lot. Once they landed, he raced up to the building's top, re-entered the vessel, and was the first one to break the silence.
"Darn it.....I can't believe that, man....." he lamented, shaking his head in disappointment as his voice broke. "Such twisted people.....it's like the Avian Wing brothel all over again....."
"Yeah....." Duncan sighed. "As if that wasn't already a traumatizing case for us...."
"I have no idea what you guys are talking about, but judging from how you two remember it.....it definitely doesn't sound like a good thing," Nightclaw remarked.
The Crawler shrugged. "Neither do I, boss, and I've served you for.....who knows how long?"
"Trust me.....the less you both know about that, the better," the doctor replied gravely. "So.....what are we going to do? We still need to let Powerhouse's family know that he'll be staying with us for a little while.....and we still need to find the last hero."
"Maybe you and The Crawler can just come with me to my place," Powerhouse suggested. "I think my mother might still be a little on-edge regarding your antics, but after I explain everything that's been going on---and you tell them everything about this 'Giorgio Carlisle' person---I'm sure she'll understand."
"What can I do?" Nightclaw asked.
"Since we're not going out to attack anyone.....you can stay in the plane and keep an eye on The Viper.....you know, make sure she's okay and all that," Duncan said softly. "She's taking this all very hard."
"I can't think of someone who wouldn't take this hard. She's inspired me for so long.....it's only fair that I help her in her time of need."
The doctor nodded. "Cool." He, The Crawler, and Powerhouse returned their arsenals back to the weapons closet before Duncan turned off the plane's engine for the time being. "We'll see you in a bit, Nightclaw."
"Good luck, you guys! Everything will be fine here, I promise."
Before the three of them left, however, Duncan took a few seconds to approach The Viper's room. "Viper.....?" he said quietly. "Powerhouse, The Crawler, and I are going to head out for a bit to update Powerhouse's family on the situation. I'm leaving Nightclaw here so you won't be alone."
But there was no response.
".....You there?"
Still nothing.
".....Okay, well....I'll see you in a little bit. Stay safe, okay? We'll be back as soon as we can.....I promise."
With that, Duncan, The Crawler, and Powerhouse left the aircraft while Nightclaw remained in the passenger area.

As the three of them made their way back to the ground floor, hopped into Powerhouse's vehicle, and drove through Seattle to get to the house, The Crawler voiced his concerns.
"You don't suppose Powerhouse's mother might call the cops on us, boss?" he asked.
"I.....hope not.....?" Duncan questioned, the uncertainty in his voice obvious. "She did see the news story about a year ago where I helped you and Fritz take down the Avian Wing brothel.....right, Powerhouse?"
