I woke up without Ellie in my arms, I was scared

"Ellie where the fuck are you?"

No answer, and I noticed that Joel was also missing, I started shaking

"Oh shit! Joel!"

I ran outside hearing voices and saw people fighting with Joel

"Motherfuckers, get back!" I said, shooting them both in the legs and knocking them to the ground

I walked to Joel, that was lying on the ground

"Joel are you okay?"

"Yes, are you?"

"I'm fine, do you know where Ellie is?"

"I have no idea"

"They should know then" I said pointing to the two men on the ground

"Let's ask them"

"Good idea"

We took them inside and tied them up in two separate parts of the room

"You do the honor" Joel said to me

"Thank you dear" I replied, then turned to them

"Well, where the fuck is the girl?" I asked

"We don't know any girl!" Replied one who was tied to a chair

"Oh really? Let's see if you know this one" I pulled out my knife and stuck it near his kneecap

"You better tell me the truth, or I'll blow your kneecap off"

"Oka okay, it's David's new pet"

"Well, that bastard, where is he?" I asked, pulling the knife from his leg

I grabbed a map and put the knife in the guy's mouth

"Point out on the map where he is" I said and so he did

"Well, now we come to you"

I took the knife back and turned to the other guy, who was tied up and standing on the ground

"Where is David?"

"What the fuck do you mean, he just told you!"

"I'm in charge here" I replied and stuck the knife in his leg

"Now you better not fuck up and write down where he is, and you and your little friend better say the same thing, otherwise you know what happens"

He wrote on the ground in his blood and the information matched

"Well, you did good"

"Can you let us go?" He asked

I didn't look at him and answered like this

"Joel, to you the honor, give them some lead"

"Thank you dear, with pleasure"

Joel shot both of them, lest they come back to report this, then we set out for the location they had indicated

We arrived at a town, but there was a snowstorm that reduced visibility

"Damned snow!" I said

"Can't see a fucking thing!" Joel replied
