Chapter Forty-Two

Saudi Arabia was great for Max, Lando didn't get a podium so he was bummed about that one, but were still positive.

Australia went bad for both Lando and Max, neither got podium.

Italy was amazing, Max got P1, and Lando P3.

United states, we succeeded again with Max. Lando got P4.

Spain ended with Max on P1. Lando on P4. He was keeping up well.

When Monaco came, Lando and I were thrilled to be back in our house. Max was there as well, he wanted to see the race and he checked on the house a few times.

Lando and I rested by the pool while the other drivers were splashing around in the pool. "I can't believe you have a cooler pool than me" my brother says in disbelief but jumped back in the water.

Kelley and Penelope also got in the water and I watched them as Max played with Penelope.

I couldn't wait to see Max as a dad. How he was with Penelope, just convinced me he would be opposite of our father.

"What are you thinking about?" Lando asks as he sit behind me so I'm sitting between his legs. I lean back and smile.

"Nothing" I say and enjoy his presence.

"I love you" Lando whispers and wrap his arms around me squeezing me a little and wiggle us side to side.

"I love you" I say and look up at him with a smile.

"Do you know what today is?" I ask playfully. "Anniversary" Lando says excitedly and smile brightly. "How long?" I ask and see him panicked as he thinks hard.

"Fuck. 1 year anniversary" Lando realises in panic. "Fuck" He says and gets up and run inside the house.

"Baby!" I shout after him but he doesn't stop.

"What's wrong?" Max asks confused.

"Lando just realised it's our one year anniversary" I say with a laugh.

"Oh. Really? Already?" Max says with a wince.

"Yeah" I say with a nod and Charlotte sits next to me. "Congrats babe" She says and hugs me. "Thank you" I say and hug her back.

"Oh my" Pierre says with a wink and we pull away and glare at him.

We were hugging in our bikinis and Pierre turned into an immature teenager.

Both Max and Charles reached their arms out and pushed Pierre into the pool in response.

We laugh our asses off and get a new drink. "Do I smell alcohol?" Isa sneaks up behind us and we hug her. "Hey baby" I say in excitement.

"Where's Lando?" Carlos asks as I hug him. "I don't know, he freaked out when I reminded him that it's our one year anniversary" I say and shrug. Carlos' eyes widen and hurry inside the house.

"Charles!" Carlos shouts as he comes back out. We raise an eyebrow as Carlos tries to get Charles inside. Charles get out of the pool and walk up to Carlos who whispers and then his eyes widen and they go inside.

I shake my head and laugh. We get our drinks and start the music. We play around in the pool, when Penelope got out we decided to play volleyball.

Yuki, Alex, Charlotte and I were on the same team, Isa, Kelley, Pierre and Lewis was on the other team and the rest watched.

"Yes!" I scream as we get another point. "I got my eyes on you, Verstappen" Pierre says and motion with his hands that he's watching me.

I stick my tongue out at him and smirk.
