Chapter Sixteen

In the middle of unpacking in my own hotel room, my phone buzzes.

Lando Norris:
I'm scared.
Why is Max inviting me to dinner at their place tomorrow night?
Does he want to kill me?
Is he going to do it in a quiet private place?
I'm not ready.
What's going on?

I groan and decide I'll play dumb.

Nathalie-Cute-Verstappen:
I have no idea. 
But good luck! 👍

Lando Norris:
Wait—you're not coming?
Now I'm officially scared.

Nathalie-Cute-Verstappen:
Nah.

I text and Lando doesn't answer for a few minutes. I laugh a little by myself.

Lando Norris:
You little shit. I called Max!
You made me sound like a whining bitch.

Nathalie-Cute-Verstappen:
😘
Of course, I'm coming you idiot.

Lando Norris:
Also why did Max and Kelley start laughing at me?
Is there something I need to know?

Nathalie-Cute-Verstappen:
Not that I know of. No.

I chuckle and put my phone down before resuming my unpacking.

I took a shower and put on my fluffy robe and hid in my bed with a movie.

I was half asleep when I heard a weak knock on my door. I groaned and crawled out of my bed and sleepily made my way to the door.

I looked through the peephole and raised an eyebrow. "What the hell?" I mutter and open the door. I crouch down and Penelope hugs me.

"P? What are you doing here?" I ask confused. "I wanted to spend time with you" Penelope said and I chuckled. "Alright, but why are you alone?" I ask.

"They let me" Penelope said with a mischievous grin.

"Do I believe that?" I ask her and pretend to think. "Yes" Penelope said and I lifted her up and closed the door after me.

"Alright. What do you want to do then?" I ask her and she jumps on my bed immediately. "Frozen!" She cheers and clap her tiny hands.

I cross my arms and sigh. "Really? Again? You watched it multiple times this morning" I say with a groan.

She giggled before playing with the remote. "Alright, it gives me the opportunity to nap" I say and get in bed and snuggle up next to Penelope who already put on Frozen herself.

"Olaf!" Penelope shouted and I fell asleep within minutes. Penelope sang and jumped in the bed while I was passed out.

A few hours later Penelope fell asleep too and I woke up startled as a loud pounding in my door echoed in the entire room.

I get up once again groaning and I open the door. "Whaaaaat" I groan and I see Max, Lando and Kelley looking terrified.

"Have you seen Penelope? She's gone!" Kelley panicked.

"That little shit! She told me she had told you she was going to me" I say and look back at Penelope who was now hiding under the blanket.

"Penelope Kvyat!" Kelley shouted and stormed past me. I hurried out of her way and stood next to Max and Lando.

"She wanted to watch Frozen again. I think she hates me, she keeps making me watch it with her" I say and turn to Max.

He starts laughing and I hit his shoulder.

"Shut up, Maxiiii" I mock him and he glared at me in response.

"What are you doing here?" I ask Lando as I finally registered that it was odd that he was here.

"Came knocking down my door" Lando said and nodded towards Kelley who was trying to catch Penelope.

"I'm so tired" I say and yawn. Max rubbed my back comfortingly and Kelley finally stormed out of my room with Penelope squirming in her arms.

"Nat, help me" Penelope whines and I just wave at her evilly.

"No more Frozen!" I cheer and Max laughs before following Kelley and Penelope.

Lando lean his arm on the doorway behind my head and we watch the trio take off.

I laughed and step back into Lando, who looks down at me. "Wanna watch a movie?" I ask narrowing my eyes at his attempt to lean in.

He smiled in response and moved his arm and pulled me back into my room.

I close the door behind me and I lean against it and bite my lip as I see Lando looking around.

I then noticed he wore a white shirt and black jeans. His hair was slightly curled and messy.

"Stop creeping at me and come and make out with me" Lando said I smirked at him in response, but stayed in my spot.

Lando rolled his eyes and walked back up to me before crashing his lips on mine.

I deepened the kiss and gave him access to massage my tongue with his own. Lando squeezed my butt and lifted me up without warning.

I quickly wrapped my legs around his waist as he pressed me against the door.

"Fuck" I moan as he leaves kisses down my throat and suck on my collar bone.

"I missed this" I say and Lando quickly shuts me up by smashing his lips back on mine.

I tug at his shirt and we pull away for a second and he let me pull his shirt off. I stare in awe as I look down his toned chest and stomach.

I run my hand down his chest and stomach before pulling at his waistband playfully.

Lando groans at my touch and walk us to the bed. He lay me gently on the bed before hovering over me.

"What now?" Lando asked slightly nervous. I truly didn't know.

At one point I wanted to sleep with him so bad, but the other half of me wanted to wait. It was a sensitive time at the moment.

"Movie?" I say in an attempt to not hurt him. "Of course! I'm choosing!" Lando said and pecked my lips excitedly before getting off.

"You can stay shirtless if you want, I wouldn't mind" I call out as he tries to find his shirt and he laughs at me and throw himself on the bed with a small jump.

I laugh and pull his lips back in mine. Maybe we could pull it off after all?
