Chapter Two

I danced all morning in my brother's hotel room, I got amazing news from Redbull Rally, my old teammate Andreas Mikkelsen from Norway had requested me as his teammate.

I was here in Austria for the meeting in person, I had to go to Salzburg today and tomorrow I had to watch Max race.

I hadn't told him about the opportunity, yet. So, I kept it to myself and I got dressed.

I got dressed in blue denim jeans with ripped holes in it, then a black top and the oversized white button up shirt, I had borrowed from Max.

I danced my way out of the hotel room and let Max know I left when he was at breakfast. He had to go pick up Kelley anyway, so we wouldn't have missed any time today.

I put on rayban sunglasses and put my black purse on my shoulder with the silver chain.

I wore black puma shoes to the outfit. I asked the valet to find the car Redbull had lent me while being here, they had it delievered last night to my use.

I got the keys and they picked the new Honda NSX Type S for me. I admired the beauty before getting in to drive to Salzburg.

After a few hours I arrive and park in the front. I exhale a deep breath and smile at the sight of the familiar building.

"Let's go" I mutter to myself before walking inside.

"Miss Verstappen, good to see you again" The receptionist Stephanie says with a smirk. I nod at her with a similar smirk.

"Likewise" I flirt and fire a wink at her. I liked my fun.

I go to my old boss' office. Scott Bradfield printed on the glass door, I knock and make a surprise motion with my hands as Scott can see me.

He waves for me to come in and I do so. "Hey, Scott" I cheer and he gets up and gives me a hug. "How are you, Nathalie?" Scott asks and gestures for me to take a seat.

I do so and smile. "I'm good, Scott. How are you?" I ask politely. "I'm doing better now that I lured you back here" Scott laughs and I do too.

I had to retire early last year, I got a back injury on a track that would have fatal concequences for me. So, I had to stop. But now, I got cleared by multiple doctors and Redbull themselves.

"Of course, so what exactly do you have in mind here?" I ask leaning forward.

Scott waves to his assistant and in comes Andreas who I stand up to hug. "Hey!" I say and sit back down.

"I want you two to race again, Redbull has never seen a better team. You are both amazing. We want you back Nathalie, so name your price and your conditions" Scott said leaning forward to listen.

The ball was in my court now. I fold my hands in front of me and I take a deep breath before naming everything I wanted done and not done.

My price and all the conditions to my new contract.

"Don't forget to say you want free cars to drive in" Andreas whisper to me and I laugh and Scott glares playfully at him.

"You heard the man. Free transport, every race" I said naming my last conditon.

"What about your back? Do you need some sort of therapist to sort you out after a race or how do you want to take care of your back?" Scott asked. He needed to know how many people he had to get me.

"I need a chiropractor available before and after each race" I say and Scott nods noting everything.

"Alright. Consider it done. I will send the contract to you to read over and double check everything and then sign. In the meantime I want Redbull to announce your return on Monday, so in five days, everyone will know" Scott said and I nodded.

I made notes on my phone and nodded as he told me details of the next race. "The first return track is in Montalegre, Portugal" Scott says and I nod.

"Got it. two weeks from now" I say and Scott nods. "Everything will be sent you. You will get Kai as your personal Assistant slash Media person, you liked him right?" Scott asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, he was great" I say and nod.

"Great, now let's go say hello to all the engineers and see the new cars for the rally" Scott said and stood up. He buttoned his suit and Andreas and I followed him.

"I missed you" Andreas said and bumped my shoulder with his. He was 13 years older than me, yet he was like a brother to me.

"I missed you too dreas" I say using his nickname I had for him.

"Nat!" A familiar voice shouted, I turned my head and was immediately thrown into a chest and a pair of arms.

"Danny!" I cheer and hug my favourite engineer back.

"GUYS, she's here!" Danny shouts and every engineer come to greet me. Scott enjoyed seeing how much everyone liked my return.

He knew it would be good for business.

Hours after seeing the new cars and coming with pointers, I was now on my way home. I got back to the hotel in reasonable time and checked into my own room.

Then I called Kelley. She picked up immediately.

"Nat! Hey" She said with a laugh.

"Hey, babes. Where are you right now?" I ask as I make my way out of the hotel once again.

"We're at this bar slash restaurant. Are you joining?" Kelley asked.

"I'm thinking I might. But I have something to show you and Max, so where are you exactly?"

"Allesandros—""—Oh I know that place! I will be there in five. Gather my brother and go outside now" I say and hang up before Kelley could question it.

I know Kelley did as I said, because when I pulled up I reved loudly in the car and Max' eyes immediately fell on me. But not only was Max and Kelley outside.

Every F1 driver was outside too.

All of them turned their heads to me. I smirked and got out of the car, I flipped my long lose hair and threw the keys to the valet.

"Like the new ride?" I ask Max and Kelley and their eyes were wide as hell.

"Is it yours?" Kelley asked. Max went up to it and examined it. "Holy shit. It's the new Honda NSX S" Max blurted.

"You bet your ass it is" I say and Kelley runs to hug me. I greet her and laugh as she almost tackles me.

"Hey brother" I say and hug Max. He kisses my cheek and hugs me tightly.

"Hey guys" I cheer and immediately see Daniel. He holds his arms out and I run to him and jump. He luckily catches me and hugs me tightly while laughing.

"Everyone, this is my sister Nathalie. Nathalie this is everyone" Max awkwardly introduced.

"It's awesome to finally meet you all" I say as Daniel lets me down. I hug everyone hello.

I stop when I notice the youngest one. Travis? Dorris...Norris? What was it..

"Ahh, you must the one that creeped on me this morning?" I tease him. I watch his face drain of all color and I laugh.

"I'm kidding, I don't mind" I flirt before pulling him into a hug. He's shocked, so it takes a second before he hugs me back, but he does.

Then I go on, I hug Russell and Lewis.

Then lastly Pierre, who I still eye fuck every time I see him. He seemed to notice and smirked at me.

"Hey, little one" Pierre teased me and pulled me into a hug.

"Fuck off, Pierre" I said with a laugh.

"Alright, let's get this party started" I say and clap my hands as I greeted everyone. "It's not a party, we have to race tomorrow" Max reminds me.

"Oh, well let's get Kelley and I's party started, then" I say and roll my eyes before hooking my arm with Kelley's.

"Goddamnit..." Max muttered behind us as we left him behind.
