Multiple articles were written about the party and Lando and I. It was now Saturday. And I was still tired from the party.

"Fuck, I can't believe I have a race tomorrow" I say with a groan and Lando's lifts his head from my stomach and yawns.

"I'm so tired" I say and yawn after Lando does and he smiles sleepily. "Me too" He says.

"I want to stay here with you" Lando whines and I smile. "We can stay here until tomorrow" I suggest. "That's kind of good enough" Lando says and crawl up to face me.

"Kind of?" I ask. "As much as I can't wait to see you race, I still want to stay here in our little bubble" Lando says and peck my lips.

"Me too, but I need to do this" I say and Lando nods. "When are you leaving?" I ask him and he frowns a bit.

"I have to leave Monday night" Lando says and I nod. "That sucks, but maybe I can fly with you?" I ask and Lando's face lit up.

"You mean that?" Lando asks. "I think it could work" I say and pull my phone out to check my calender. "I think it could work. I can come with you to your next race" I cheer and Lando kiss me in happiness.

I cup his face in my hands and smile. "Fuck yes!" Lando shouts and I laugh at him.

The day went on with ordering junk food and watching movies while recharging for my race tomorrow.

At race day, I get up early and rub my eyes. I see Kai texting me to make sure I was awake.

I smile at a shirtless sleeping Lando and I bite my lip. I run my hand down his chest and then to his stomach, stopping at the edge of his boxers.

"Babe. We have to get up" I say and kiss his cheek. "Hmmm no" Lando says and turn on his side.

"Landoooooo, come on, I can't be late. Kai will literally kill me" I say and Lando sighs. "Alright, alright. I'm coming" Lando says and I smile and shake my head at him.

I get in the shower and not even two minutes later, Lando join me.

I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him as the water run down our bodies. Lando push me back against the wall of the shower and grab my ass, so I jump and lock my legs around in waist.

"Shake it off, whatever it is, you can beat it. Don't worry yourself" Kai says and I nod and we change subject as Lando comes back.

We eat and pack up before leaving.

"Max, Kelley and Penelope, are coming later, but they will be there when the race starts" Lando tells me as he reads a text from Max.

"Good, that's good" I say and my knee bounces up and down as Lando drives the car.

Kai sat in the back and put his hand discretely on my shoulder and I immediately stopped. He was right, I can handle anything coming at me today.

I shake the feeling off and as we arrive I do the post race interviews and talk to the fans, Lando watched in the distance and checked everything out. He made sure Jos was nowhere near the Redbull wing.

"Something's gonna happen today, it's quiet" Scott tells me as I walk over to Lando. "What do you mean?" I ask and pause and turn to Scott.

"There's a bad vibe in the air" He says and doesn't look anything near pleased. I gulp as he pat my back and leave. I try to calm my breath and walk over to Lando to try and remain unfazed.

"Hey, you ready?" Lando asks and I nod before slipping my hand into his. We walk through the paddock and into my private room. Kai is already there and handing out orders to everyone.

I get changed and Lando helps me and I kiss him when I'm fully dressed. "Thank you, love" I say and smile at him. I'm about to leave the room when I get chills down my neck.

"Lando, I want to be honest with you. Rally racing is brutal, but it always looks worse than it is" I say and he nods confused. "Why are you telling me this?" He asks and take my glove covered hands in his.

"In case something happens out there, the track is quiet and that's never—""—A good sign. I know. I noticed. Just do yours to be safe out there, okay?" Lando cuts me off and I nod.

"Lando, I...—""—Nathalie, we need you" Danny calls out and I sigh.

"It's okay, let's talk after the race" Lando says and we kiss one last time, before I leave the paddock and go to the garage.

Kai hands me my helmet and I put it on along with headphones to the radio.

"It's looking a little grey out there, but we still have green light" Danny tells me and I nod. I make eye contact with Jos as he passed. I couldn't see his face, but I knew it was him and I could tell he was glaring at me.

"Hey! Wait" Max shouts, as I'm about to get in the car.

I stop and turn back to them confused and panicked. "We're here! Go get them out there, alright?" Max says and I pull him into a hug.

I say nothing, but I feel my energy run out. Bad vibes fill my nerves and veins.

I shouldn't be driving this race.

"Is everything okay?" Max asks and opens my helmet to see my face. He sees the panic in my eyes and his eyebrows furrows.

"Good luck Natie!" Penelope shouts as Kelley holds her. "Go in the room. Find Lando" Max tells them and Kelley's smile falters, but does as Max said.

"Nat, you need to get going" Danny says and I gulp. "Why do you have that look?" Max asks and doesn't let go of my shoulders.

"Nathalie! Come on! Chat later! You have a race to win" Danny shouts at me. "I love you, Max. I will win for you. I promise. I will beat him" I say and Max nods, but is not feeling calm by my words.

"I love you too, Nat. Be safe" Max says and I nod before closing my helmet.

"Nathalie!" Danny shouts angrily and I get in the car and race off without radio checking in there.

"Radio check" Danny says over the radio I take my place and rev the engine.

"I can hear you loud and clear" I say and grip the steering wheel harder.

"Go!" Danny shouts and the light turns green and I take off.

I force, two cars out in the corner and push forward.

I look to the side and see Jos waving tauntingly at me and I look ahead before pressing the speeder.
