That party was the start of a whole new friendship. One between the awkward stuttering Bruno and the talkative Y/N. At first it seemed like a strange match but once you saw them together it all made sense.
It made even so much sense that after a while she had her own spot at the dinner table in Casita, sitting between Bruno and Mirabel.
Sadly, Juan was still as persuasive as before and took every oppertunity that he had to bother her and ask her out on a date which she politely declined everytime but Heaven knows her patience was growing thin.
"I need a vision."An irritated Juan said one day, standing in front of Casita, glaring daggers at Bruno who was the unlucky person to open the door and also the unlucky person that the man in front of him needed. "You need to give me a vision or you back off from my woman."Juan hissed, pointing a finger at Bruno. "My tío Bruno does not do any visions anymore."Mirabel said, coming out of the kitchen when Casita had warned her. "Than he leaves Y/N alone.'Juan stated with a smirk, crossing his arm. "You want a vision? Fine." Bruno said calmly, shrugging his shoulders to the surprise of Mirabel while Juan smiled smugly at that. "But if it shows you a future without her, you will leave her finally alone."Bruno added, setting the price for it. He knew the discomfort that a vision would bring him. The headaches that would last a whole day and not to forget the possibility of seeing something bad or something he didn't want to see himself.
"Deal."

So now here they sat in his new vision cave, even when he told everyone he didn't want to do visions anymore, Casita had made a new small vision cave in his room for if he would ever need it. He didn't know, he would need it that quick. He cracked his knuckles before throwing some salt over his shoulders just out of habit before lighting the three piles in front of him. "I want so see her familia with me!"Juan said as Bruno just nodded before the sand around them moved and formed a ball around them, keeping them inside. He saw how she got formed in sand, a smile on her lips as she held a little kid in her arms. "See, it's my kid!"Juan exclaimed but before he could truly call it a victory for him a second person appeared with curly hair who stepped towards her and pecked her on the lips and placed a kiss on the little kid's forehead. "I won't believe it."Juan whispered just as the person turned around and Bruno was looking at... Himself.
The vision ended just like that and the green tablet fell in his lap and on it, he stood staring at himself with Y/N and the little kid.
"This can't be..."

***************

"You know the strangest thing happened today!"Y/N exclaimed as everyone sat around the dinner table. "What happened?"Mirabel asked curious. "I saw Juan and he left me alone!"She explained with a shake of her head. "It's a real miracle!"She added with a chuckle as Mirabel turned towards Bruno. "So he didn't see the future he wanted, tío?"She asked, surprising everyone around the table except for Dolores as no one knew Bruno had done a vision. "You did a vision.. for him? But,Bruno, you didn't want to do anymore visions!"Y/N exclaimed, laying a hand on his arm as he stared at it, the vision coming back up as he quickly cleared his throat. "I uhm... Yeah, I just did it. It's nothing."He muttered, focusing his attention on his plate. "But Brunito, you didn't want to do it anymore."Alma said worry hearable in her voice. "Are you feeling okay? Do you have a headache? Why even for him go through the trouble?"Y/N asked, holding a hand against his forehead as an awkwafd chuckle left his lips. "So he stopped bothering you. Tío Bruno made a deal with him that if his future is without you, he would leave you alone."Dolores explained, finishing it with a little hum. "Bruno, you didn't have to do that for me."She said softly, worry in her E/C eyes. "But I know my future will be good now."She joked while he chuckled awkwardly at that. "I wouldn't count on that."He muttered, finishing his plate quickly so he could excuse himself from the table. "Anything is better than Juan."She said confused not getting it. "Meih, I would disagree."He threw back, standing up as she also did it, ignoring her not empty plate. "Bruno, what do you mean?"She asked, taking his hand in hers, stopping him from leaving. "It's me."He whispered softly as Dolores squealed at that. "Bruno, I think that is the best possible future."She said with a small smile as Bruno looked up in schock. "You don't... Knock knock knock knock on wood."He did quickly hitting the table and than his head. "No, no, no, you don't..."He said, going in his pocket for some salt to only feel how she grabbed his wrist before he could throw it over his shoulders. "I mean it."She said, making him drop the salt in her palm before she placed a kiss on his head. "I wouldn't have danced with anyone else that night. I don't want a future without you in it."She said, a twinkle in her eyes. "Unless, you don't want to have a future with me in it."She said suddenly unsure. "Mi querida, of course I want a future with you."Bruno quickly said, a smile on his lips also, ignoring the squeals at the table as he pulled her closer. "I've waited for what feels like forever for you, mi amor."
