Clara pov
"Dang it! Why won't you work you old cow?!" I yell at the TARDIS. I keep hitting buttons hoping I would somehow make this thing work. "Clara why are you hitting the TARDIS?" Someone asks from behind me, I turn around to see the Doctor. Clutching on to the side rail and trying not to fall. "Your hurt!" I say. "Oi!I've had worse. Where's Max?" He asks me looking confused. "She got taken, I heard weapons fire outside, she's gone." I look up at the door. "Well, I stole my sonic but I don't have much time, they know my one flaw, and that is that the sonic can't do wood. So I'm stuck in here." He says. There is shouting and yelling coming from the Doctor's end of the line. "Gotta go! And press that blue button!" He states before disappearing."You have to be kidding me." I state, it was the only button I hadn't pressed. As soon as I touch it the TARDIS takes off and pretty soon I'm back on the Enterprise. "You guys are back soon." Julian says when he sees me come back, his smile turns into a worried frown when he doesn't see Max. "No." He says quietly. "She's not dead. I don't think she could be killed. She's strong. She just got caught most likely." I say trying to be helpful. He nods and then runs off to what I'm guessing is a high tech elevator? "Wait let me come with you!" I say running and catching up with him. I jump, into what he tells me is a turbo lift, at the last second. We ride it up to the Bridge, then head to what I think his Max's office. "Doctor." A...man with large ears and a kind smile says to Julian. "Commander. We need to talk." Julian says ushering to the meeting room."So your saying that she is still on Romulus?" The ears, who goes by Nog says. "Yes. To our knowledge, Spock got away and has been trying to use his contacts to find her but it hasn't been much luck. I also contacted a few of my friends, all of whom we can rely on to help find her Nog." Julian says. "That is good news Doctor but a few more ships isn't going to help us get through the neutral zone. And as much as I want to to help my captain, my friend, I can't until I get approval. My initial request was denied.." Nog says putting his hand up to his ear and rubbing it. "Come on, there must be someone Nog! We can't just leave her there! There has to be a rule of acquisition, a federation law...something to get us the supplies we need and the people we need to do this op." Julian says. "We have the TARDIS." I say. "But we don't have anyone who can fly it." Julian points out. "So we find someone who can." I suggest. "There's no more Timelords to fly this because the only two are both being held by the Romulans if you haven't noticed!" Julian states. "There's one more." I say.
"Who?!" Julian asks me. "River Song. If we get a message to her. We can save Max, then we can find the Doctor." I say smiling. "Alright saying this plan works, you think Max will know where the Doctor is?" Nog asks. "Word in the galaxy says that the Romulans have themselves a mind reading device they awaited recently." Julian says. "So, how will that help?" Nog asks. "Max can read minds, she can use the opportunity to find out where the Doctor is, and if worse comes to worse, she can use the device to connect to the network and find the Doctor on it. It's risky, but she has taught me to think like her, I know she can do this." Julian says. "Now, let's go find River." I say. The netting dismissed and I was off to the TARDIS, hopefully I can find the information I need without having to touch anything. Hopefully....
