Chapter 11

Hey it's me! Sorry I haven't posted in a while I'm on vacation for the month visiting family. Anyways hope you enjoy this chapter :)

"Max. Don't do this." I hear the person say from behind me. I knew who it was before I even turned around. "I have to, and you know it Julian." I say standing up and going over to a different control panel to check the readings. What I wasn't paying attention to was what was in his hands. "The person you'd take a phaser for is behind the trigger...." I mutter stopping and standing in front of him. "It's on stun." He says trying to keep serious. "So that's your solution? Stunning my butt and dragging me back to my ship? Let me tell you this, as soon as we get back, I will turn myself in and they can courtmarshal me. Now let me fly, I have this thing on manual." I state. He crossed his arms and pouted after sitting down in the seat next to me. "Julian...the Doctor is the only other survivor of my entire race! I'm not going to just let him rot on some planet till he finally dies! When a Timelord dies....its like a piece of the universe is broken. Every Timelord is unique, we helped people, but we never interfered. There are so many races that are out there that you have no idea about yet, planets that haven't been discovered that I've seen! If the Doctor dies, they will die with him." I say concluding. "What about you? You could have gone off with him but you haven't. You could have left this life, left me, but you didn't. Why?" He asks putting the phaser down and slamming his hand down on the console. "Because I love what I do...because I love you." I say quietly. He sits there not really sure what to say. "Alright then. That settles it. Let's find the Doctor. But when we get back your going to owe me one." Julian says sitting back and looking over to me smiling. "What would I owe you?" I ask sighing. "Holosuite...maybe darts...game of racquetball....few drinks...haven't really decided yet." He says. We both crack up laughing. "Do you want me to let you be captain for the day to?" I ask jokingly. "I'm thinking at least letting me sit in that chair of yours." He says sarcastically back. Till we get to the planet, I pilot, Julian works on a report of his, and then I get some rest while he takes over. "Uh...Max....wake up." Julian says to me. I open my eyes and see that Julian was looking at something. I then sit up in my chair and look out the window. "Holy..." Julian mutters. Out the window was a large red planet, you could see volcanoes spewing lava all the way from the surface. But that wasn't the planet I was looking for. The planet I was looking for was behind it on the far left side. Four moons orbited around the blue and green planet. It was small, half the size of earth. "Oh." He says looking at the planet now in front of us. "You don't have to go down with me." I say getting up. "I'm going." He says looking at me seriously. "Julian. I'm serious. Going down there. It's not just a normal rescue mission." I say. "I don't care. I got into this and I'm not going to change my decision." Julian states. "I'm coming for you Doctor." I whisper as we beam down.
