Meanwhile on the Enterprise
"She should have contacted us by now." Julian states to Nog. "Doctor. As much as I sympathize, I'm sure she is fine. If she doesn't contact us within the next 24 hours we will head to Seta III to investigate. But we can't just beam into the person who's in charges office and ask "Hey, By chance have you seen a girl with blue eyes, brown hair, doesn't really seem to fit in around here?" Nog states. "Yes sir. I understand." Julian says. "If Max hasn't made contact and told them who we are, we aren't aloud to interfere." Nog says. "Dismissed." Nog adds. Julian nods and walks off to his quarters. "Max is probably just running behind. That's all." He says to himself. "Max please be alright." Julian prays quietly.
24 hours later
"I still haven't been able to get in touch with the Captain and have not gotten a call from her in the past 48 hours." Nog says walking the briefing table. All the senior staff were having a meeting to discuss what to do about the situation. "You know the prime directive. We can't just go pick her up." Commander Harry says. "But we could send someone down disguised as a Galvanian." Julian points out. "We first would have to track her location down." Commander Zain pipes up. "That's won't be that hard. The Captain has a very distinct DNA signature." Julian says. "Alright. So who will we send down once we find her? We can't just beam her up." Lieutenant Dax states. Everyone looks at her. "Me?! But I'm just the counselor." She says. "You can read people like we can't. Besides. The Captain will be able to use her telepathy to know your there." Commander Nog says. "I hope we all know what we're getting ourselves into." Commander Zain mutters. "When in doubt. Just think, What Would the Captain Do?" Commander Harry says laughing slightly. That makes everyone smile and then the meeting is dismissed.
Seta III
A few minutes later two Galvanians walk in. "I'm officer Tran and this is officer Nema." The first Galvanian says to me. "I suppose you're here to find out why I'm different?" I say sitting up a bit in my bed. Everything hurt. I guess they didn't want to give me morphine. If they even had morphine. "Well that is one reason Mrs. Wright." Officer Nema says. "Where are you from?" Officer Tran asks. "I'm from the Getta province in the Hale sector." I say. "And your full name?" She says. "Malora Wright." I state. "Would you care to explain to us Malora how you came to have organs that our doctors can't even identify?" Officer Nema asks. "I have a rare disease that causes internal genetic malformations." I say hoping it would pass as an answer. "I see. And why has no doctor come forward that knows about this?" She asks. "Because my doctor died a few years ago. And I never went to her that much to begin with." I state. "Very well. That is all. Rest for now. We will be back soon." Officer Tran says. I nod and then move around in the bed till I find a position that doesn't hurt. I fall asleep shortly after.
12 hours later
Doctor Bashir, Commander Harry, and Lieutenant Dax take a runabout to Seta III. "Let's put her in a high orbit, that way we will be invisible to Galvanian sensors." Commander Harry says to Dax and Bashir. "Right. Have you detected her on the surface yet?" Dax asks Julian. "No, but she could be in a building impenetrable to our sensors." Julian says. "Or...." Harry starts to say but stops. "Or what?" Julian asks slightly annoyed with the Andorian. "Or....she could be dead. Or weak." Harry states. Julian stares at him and then turns to Dax says, "Ezri. Get ready to beam down." She nods. He then turns back to Harry. "She is not dead. Do you understand me?" He snaps. "Perfectly." Harry says angrily. Dax beams down to the surface. She had beamed into the Rozon sector. "Alright. I just have to find Max on a huge alien planet." Ezri mutters to herself. She heads off towards the capital building first. "Hi. I'm looking for a friend of mine that got separated from me while we were here. Could you help?" She asks a lady at the front desk. "Yes. Your friends name?" The lady asks. Ezri has to think for a minute about that. Julian had told her who Max was posing as...she just had to remember. "Oh! Malora Wright." She states smiling. "Just a minute please." The lady says typing something onto the console in front of her. "She's checked in at the local hospital. She's in the critical unit." The lady states sympathetically. Ezri gulps slightly. "Uh thank you." She says and then heads off to where the lady instructed. On her way to the hospital Ezri taps the com badge hidden underneath her jackets and talks to Julian and Harry. "A hospital? In critical? What happened?" Julian stammered out. "I haven't found that out yet. But I have to go. Or someone will think I've gone crazy talking to myself." Ezri states. "I'm coming down there. Meet me in the back alley behind....Hazel and Gregger." Julian states then he ends the conversation. Ezri sighs. She knew that if something ever happened to Max, Julian would blame himself for it. She meets Julian in the back alley where instructed and they then walk the short distance to the hospital. "Don't you think your going draw attention to yourself?" She asks Julian. "To hell I am." He mutters. "Alright." She says raising her hands in surrender.
Max pov
I wake up in pain, wincing I sit up slightly and grab the water and food that was on the tray in front of me. 'Max, if you can hear me I'm coming for you.' I hear in my mind. It was Julian. What the heck was he doing here? I must have missed my call. How long had I been in here? I curse. 48 hours. Right now I was wishing I still had some regenerative power. I feel so....human. It was weird. A few minutes later I heard arguing out my door and shouting. I smirk, Julian was putting those guards in there place. Then I realize if he messes this up we will be breaking the prime directive and it will be all my fault. He shouldn't have come here. Then I also here a girl's voice. Ezri. The fact that she was here meant that Nog must have ordered her and Julian to come. That would mean someone must be in the runabout. The best pilot I know is Harry. Before he became a security officer he wanted to be a pilot for a shuttle company. Admiral Pike had recruited him into Star Fleet the same time I started. The door barges open and Julian and Ezri come in, shutting the door. "What happened?" Ezri asks. "Long story." I say. "Well let's get you out of here." Julian says. He pulls out his combadge. "Commander Harry. Three to beam up." Julian says. "Aye sir." Harry says. A few minutes later I was being taken to the back of the runabout to be looked over by Julian while Harry piloted us back to the Enterprise. As Julian scanned me I explained what happened. "What were you thinking? Your not invisible anymore!" Julian states to me. "It's not like I had a say!" I point out. Julian sighs. "I'm glad your safe. That's what counts." He says smiling. "Now. Let's fix you up." He states grabbing his supplies.
