Julian pov
"You have to be kidding me." I state looking at all the controls on the TARDIS. "How can someone possibly fly this?!" I ask. "The Doctor...and your wife." Clara says looking at the main screen. "Come on, there has to be like a manual or something!" She states angrily. "Actually, no. The Doctor said he threw it in a super nova." I say leaning on the rail. "What?!" She says looking at me. "He disagreed with it?" I say shrugging. "Fine. We just need to contact River anyways..." Clara says. "But how?" I ask. "By doing this!" She says pressing a button. "If this works it would send out a distress signal to River. The Doctor showed me it once. I just had to find which button." She says. "Show off." I mutter. In a few minutes River is standing in front of us, she looks a bit tired and her hair is a mess. "Sorry. Had to shake off some unwanted guests." She says breathing heavily. "Now. What's wrong?" She asks looking from Clara, to me, then back to Clara. "You want to explain or should I?" I ask Clara. "Fine, me it is then." I say when Clara doesn't answer. I explain the situation, as soon as she understands she starts the TARDIS up. "Where did you take us?" I ask. "The compound you wanted. The TARDIS, can get through anything. I turned on the cloak but we must be carful. The Doctor's number 1 rule is that this can not fall into the hands of his enemies." River says grabbing her gun. "I thought Timelords were against guns." Clara says. "No. Just the Doctor." She states opening the door. "Is it me. Or am I the only one who seems this is not an everyday thing like you guys think?" I ask. "Yep." River says. I sigh and grab my phaser, I am about to say "Let's move out." when River runs out. "I am the one in charge!" I state angrily. "Do you want to find Max and the Doctor or not?" River asks. I nod and we trail off down the hallway, "Turn here." I say. "How do you know?" Clara asks looking left and right from behind the wall. "It's a hunch. But a big one, now I'm positive we turn right here."'I say. That's when I hear a scream, it was definitely Max's. "See, I know." I say running off first. We get to the door we think she is behind, only to find 6 guards right in front of it. I curse under my breath, she has to know we are here, she can sense me. "Why do they need so many guards for Max?" Clara asks. River and I look at Clara, she still looks clueless. "Have you met Max?" I hiss at her. "She could take down way more than this. Something's wrong. She might be hurt. Probably why they don't have that many outside....come on, we need to find a back way in." I state about to head down the opposite hallway. "Wait!" River whispers at us. I turn around and see Max being dragged out of the room, unconscious. I start to run after her, only to be held back by River. "I can get her! Let me go!" I yell at her. "There's to many guards, we need to wait till she gets back to her cell, then we can help rescue her then. Understood? I'm not going loose one of you to these Romulans, or whatever you call them." She says with a death glare. I put down my phaser and guide them down to a small room I saw with a hatch, once in one we just had to find our way around. "Right, you first then." River says to me. "Why?" I ask, "It was your idea." She says smirking.
