The Truth

Chapter 8:

"What else should I take?" I asked Hazel.

"Nothing else, just chill out you'll be fine" she said.

"Oh shit! I forgot my laptop. Where is my charger? Where is my hard disk?" I searched for all of this in panic.

"Stop!" Hazel yelled and I stood there shocked. She came towards me and told me to sit down and stay clam.

"I am clam" I said.

"Yeah right, I can see that" Hazel said sarcastically.

"Okay fine but-"

"No buts now" Hazel cut me off "just take a deep breadth and tell me what you want and I'll get it for you okay" she said.

"Okay so I want my laptop, my phone charger, my earphones and my hard disk" I said.

"Aye aye captain" she said and we both laughed.

"Oh! One more thing" I said and Hazel stopped.

"A warm hug" I said and she quickly came and wrapped her arms around me. "I am going to miss you" I said hugging her tightly as tears flowed down my cheeks.

"Hey! Don't worry I'll always be there with you" she said pulling apart.

"Promise?" I asked.

"Promise" she said and I smiled.

"I hate it when you cry" Hazel said.

"Why? You love me so much?" I asked.

"No! Its because I hate tomatoes" she said and I stared at her confused.

"What has that to do with this?" I asked.

"Its just that you start turning red like a tomato when you cry" she said.

"That's not fair. You can't call me a tomato" I said and ran after her around the whole house, but as I am faster than her I caught her threw her on the couch and started tickling her.

"Oh hahaha sto-stop haha" Hazel said trying to pushed me off her.

"No no no, not this time" I said and tickled her harder.

"What's going on?" I heard moms voice and immediately stopped. Hazel and I quickly got up and stood in front of her.

"Umm nothing mom we were just playing around" I said.

"Oh I see" she said.

"Yes mom" Hazel said.

"Have you finished packing?" Mother asked.

Hazel and I exchanged gazes and understood what we planned to do and the quickly grabbed our mother's hand and quickly pushed her on the couch and started tickling her.

"Okay okay stop" she said laughing hard and we stopped.

Hazel and I hugged her from both the sides and there she was in the middle getting squashed. She didn't say anything, she just sat there and put her arms around us and hugged us.

"We both will miss you honey" my mom said and tears filled my eyes.

"I will miss you'll too mom" I said looking up and kissing her cheek.

The door bell rang and Hazel got up to see who it was. My friends were here all of them except Jacob. He couldn't even remove time from his busy schedule to come and say bye to me? I guess its just hopeless to ask him or expect something from him.

"That's some mommy baby time" Andrew said entering my house.

"Stop it Andrew" Isle said hitting his head.
