THIRD'S POV

Jungkook sat there and tried to process everything by taking it one incredible event at a time.

Jimin had giant iridescent wings and they were fireproof.

He got him out of the house totally unscathed when there had been no escape.

He again saved his life by covering him with his wings when the stranger tried to kill him with a flame thrower.

Jimin then turned into a dragon, a massive, terrifyingly beautiful beast and flew him to the mountain.

Finally and no less traumatizing, he discovered that his father actually wanted him dead.

Where to start and how to deal were his questions.

Jimin stepped out of the room with the two large men he'd introduced as his brothers and he didn't want him to leave.

The need to keep Jimin close was weird considering what had transpired this evening but it was how he felt and what he wanted.

The feeling of safety and comfort he had when Jimin was close made him crave the man's presence.

He had a sudden urge to go and try to find him but he forced himself to remain seated.

From what he saw from the yard, the house was massive like a castle and if he tried to find his way around, he'd probably get lost. Jimin said he'd be back.

Jungkook opened his eyes and looked over at the two young men seated across from him.

One looked dark haired and the other was blond and rather pale but both exuded strength and confidence he wished he possessed right now.

They introduced themselves again when the dark haired noticed Jungkook looking at them

"I'm Lyle, King Dun's mate and this is Jin, Joon's mate." They said and the words seemed so strange.

He'd heard the word mate being tossed around as he was trying to sort himself out.

Jimin had said that he was his mate and it sounded like an important connection.

They told him about the dragon circle and gave him a rundown of the familial relationships within the house and their connection to the Lodge down in B-city.

They then went into a lengthy history lesson on why the dragons were there and discussed the process of shifting.

Jungkook could sense that they were bouncing around a bit but were still imparting copious amounts of information and Jungkook was taking it all in.

"Are they still themselves when in shifted form?" Jungkook asked remembering the same light in the dragon's eyes as were present in Jimin's.

He recognized the man within the beast, which was part of why he didn't fear him.

He had been afraid of what was happening to him but he was never afraid of Jimin.

"Yes, totally cognizant but the dragon relies more on instinct than the human." Lyle explained.

"They aren't one in the same, the dragon and the man and yet they aren't separate either if that makes any sense."
