THIRD'S POV

Jungkook checked his watch and it was just past eight. He'd been working since six that morning and he was starting to crash.

Since leaving his dad's company, Jungkook had struck out on his own and was beginning to establish himself after many months.

His work was being recognized and appreciated and the job orders were picking up.

Currently, he was pretty much a one-man operation but he looked forward to the day he could hire extra help.

Then he would be able to take on bigger jobs, jobs that would bring in bigger money.

His father's business, Jeon Designs was located in the middle of S-city but also took jobs in other areas.

Jungkook set up shop in B-city and on several occasions, found himself bidding against his father's interest.

He didn't always get the job but he'd beat him out on two occasions and those felt so good, so satisfying.

From what he'd been told by people who still worked for Jiwoo the business was not what it used to be.

Their new managing director Jih, was losing them more business than he was bringing in.

But Jeon Jiwoo wasn't someone who would ever admit a mistake, so things just continued as they were.

Jiwoo never tried to contact Jungkook after he quit and left the area, he seemed relieved to be rid of him which hurt a lot at the time but was getting easier with each day that passed.

Lee Joss retired after quitting the business and moved home to be near his son sujin, Sujin worked at the University of k-city in the food services department.

Joss advised Jungkook to relocate B-city since the town was undergoing quite a rebirth and growth, translating into jobs.

"It's a good place to start if not to stay, You'll build a name for yourself and your work."

He told him and Jungkook picked up and moved to B-city.

Joss helped Jungkook from time to time when he needed an extra pair of hands but was not interested in anything steady.

He was pleased with whatever help Joss could give him.

The man was an artist and a magician when it came to stone work.

He finished for the night and cleaned up the area stowing his tools in the back of his truck and covering the supplies he didn't want to get wet overnight.

The job was in a gated community and the homeowner also had cameras and alarms so he felt the site was secure.

They'd hired him to build a mammoth outdoor grilling station with an old-world pizza oven and various warming stations.

It was going to be beautiful when finished.

They were currently on vacation so he could work late, which helped move the job along.

Joss was meeting him tomorrow and they would finish it up with a few of Joss's special touches.

He always looked forward to working with his friend, Then he was off to S-city to do a job on which he'd outbid his father and it pleased him immensely.

For now he was going to get home, clean up and take a few hours for himself.

It had been a long week and he was looking at long weeks ahead of him so he needed a night out.

It was Friday night and the bigo was calling to him.
