THIRD'S POV

Jimin wanted to pull his mate into his arms and just hold him but he seemed so distant at first that he feared Jungkook's trust in him had diminished.

But once they started talking, it was clear that Jungkook was working it all out as best as he could in such a short time.

His mate was trying and his mate was not rejecting him, so he saw that as a win.

"So, you're a dragon shifter." his mate just said it straight out and waited.

"Yes I'm and so are my brothers and my friends."

"This is the B-city Dragon Circle led by King park Dun and myself and my brothers Joon, Jai and Yoongi are Dragon Knights serving and protecting our King."

"Wow and I thought my life was dramatic." Jungkook laughed but it was a tense sound.

"Maybe you could tell me what this all means for us and our future together."

"It means that you are my mate, my Fated love, my promised destiny."

Jimin moved to put his arm around Jungkook and pulled the blanket up to cover him, afraid that he might get a chill.

To his utter delight, Jungkook laid his head on Jimin's shoulder and listened quietly.

Jimin painted the picture as complete as he could what a mate meant to a shifter and how precious and sacred the union was.

He even touched on the Quest that had brought them here in search of the destiny that their seer had promised.

"Cal the Chief of the Clan was the first to find his mate."

"It was then that we knew that this place was where we belonged and where we would all find our destiny."

"Lyle and Jin said that you will claim me as your own as your bonded mate." Jungkook sounded uncertain but there was also curiosity in his tone.

Jimin turned Jungkook's face up to his and looked deeply into his dark doe eyes, looking for the understanding and acceptance that he craved.

Jungkook's words were tentative but not dismissive and Jimin did not hesitate to jump on that fact.

He saw an opening and he was going to take it.

"Do you accept me as your mate?"

"It's so much more than marriage and cannot be reversed The bond and my love for you are eternal."

"It will never fade and never die."

"I will remain by your side and will always hold you as my center and in my heart, I will raise you above all others and all things, it is the way of the dragon." Jimin made the pitch and held tight to his mate.

Jungkook was silent but Jimin could feel the thoughts rushing through his mind and the desire to say yes on the tip of his tongue.

Jimin waited, knowing that once he made his decision that he would have to tell Jungkook the truth of what he was carrying and the fact that he was indeed pregnant.
