I walked off the bus that morning. My eyes were puffy from crying so hard. I didn't know how this day would carry on.

In class, I asked if I could be excused to the bathroom. I went into the bathroom and reapplied my makeup. I locked myself in a stall, finding my old pocket knife. Was I going to cut again? I already had for my parents. For every year they've been gone. I didn't know, though. Why was I going to cut?

"Because your life is awful," I scolded myself in my mind. I nodded, but the knife was quickly hidden back into my pocket.

It was time for me to get my stuff out of my locker. The girl beside me eyed my every move. I started to panic as she came closer. I looked at her quickly.

"What? What'ya lookin' at?" she asked me. I looked at her again and frowned. "Stop it." I turned away, quickly shoving my books in my locker. I took one more peek behind me to find she was chasing after me. I hurried down the hall, but I tripped. Ugh, what I clumsy fool. I got hit right in the nose with a clenched fist. I could feel blood rushing out of my nose, then I felt dizzy. I couldn't stand up, and that was when I had blacked out.
