Elysian mates are a rare thing everyone dreams of but most never experience. The universe will draw two peoples together like two ends of a rope bound to a turning wheel. And the more time they spend together the more they will be pulled towards one another. But the stars will test them and if they pass they will have their divine moment which is the time they will decide if they want to be together or not. If they choose to be together they will become Elysian Mates but if they choose not to they will be Star Crossed.If during their divine moment they choose to part a black ring will form arround their irises and from that day forward every celestial being in the universe will work against them, forcing them apart.
They say if born with an elysian mate you would be born with an infinity sign birth mark. Many people had these birth marks therefore the only way you would really find out who your elysian mate was is to wait until you two had a divine moment.

On Friday the 13th two baby girls were born to the Addams family. Nikova and Wednesday Addams the twins of the family and although they didn't look identical they both had been born with one similar thing.
Most families only had one child born with an elysian mate if they were lucky. So when it was discovered that two girls born in the same family had an elysian mate it was a shock to everyone.
Nikova now 16 years of age often thought about how her elysian mate would be like. She also wondered if he would run away once laying eyes on her. Her family was odd and loved all things dark and spooky. She often wondered if her elysian mate would except her for who she was. Although similar to her twin sister Wednesday who loved all things black she found herself liking other colors as well like her favorite color red. The two sisters were yet to find their elysian mates and probably never would. But having parents who were elysian mates made things difficult when they constantly brought up how they found each other in Nevermore Academy and how they were likely to find their soulmates in the same place. Which we all know is just another excuse to get them to go to Nevermore cause there's no possible way that their elysian mates could be students right?
