Dr. Kinbott says we should get out more and open our minds to new people and experiences. I hope she thinks breaking into morgues counts as going out.

"While we do the autopsy, you find the files of the monster's other victims and make copies." I look at Thing making my way towards the freezer.

"Don't pout. Your scalpel skills are questionable." Wednesday says to Thing.

"Remember on our 13th birthday, when Uncle Fester gave us that cadaver?" Wednesday looks a Thing. "You sliced right through that man's carotid."

She gets Thing to go make the copies while we started working on the autopsy of the person the monster just killed.

Pulling the body of the the freezer I take out my recorder.

"Thursday, 7:23 p.m. The body is that of a 50 year old male. Laceration and defensive wounds appear on both hands. What remains of the chest and torso indicates a frenzied attack. Subject has been almost entirely disemboweled. This is curious. Subject's left foot is missing. It appears to have been chewed off at the ankle." I say into the recorder.

Thing suddenly comes running into the room frantically.

"Have you seen a left foot anywhere?" Wednesday asked Thing.

Thing starts frantically tapping.

"Calm down. Who's coming?" I question.

After responding we pushing the body back into the freezer. Wednesday and I look for a freezer to hide in hearing the footstep getting closer.

We hear the sheriff talking to the doctor about the body they just found.

I hear footsteps come near the freezer and open my eyes making sure not to blink as the door opens and I get pulled out.

"I don't remember these coming in." The doctor says touching both our faces.

"Full rigor. You've been dead a while. Guess you won't mind waiting another day for me to cut you open." He smiles pushing us back in while closing the door.

Thing soon comes to let us out of the freezers.

"Five more minutes. I was just getting comfortable." Wednesday replied.

"Well you can pull me out Thing my freezer smells like dead body and not the good kind." I say holding my nose.
...

The next morning I walk into Wednesdays dorm I see a whole bulletin board filled with pictures of the monsters victims. Since yesterday she's been acting odd but I chose not to question her. Not bothering to ask her what she's doing I call for her saying it was time for class. She explains the pattern the bodies have in common of a missing body part that has been surgically removed.

We put a pause on our conversation as we walk into the greenhouse for Thornhills class. Finding my seat next to Xavier I'm reminded about the flowers he left at my door to say he was sorry.

Class soon beings as we watch Thornhill talk about a new plant. My attention pulls away from her when I hear Xavier grunt in pain reaching for his book in his backpack. He looks back at me noticing I was looking at him.

"I tweaked my back fencing." He said.

Turing my attention back to Thornhill I could feel Xavier's gaze on me.

"Now once the plant is pollinated, what do the male insects get in exchange?" Thornhill asked the class.

"Nada. Just like all the guys at the Rave'N." Bianca answers making the class laugh.
