Chapter 10

The night of the Rave'N was here and I was still yet to find a dress. Currently in my closet tossing clothes left and right I scream in frustration. Walking to Wednesdays dorm to see if she's was having any luck I pushed open the door walking in.

"Any luck finding anything to wear?" She shook her head no. "Enids already at the dance we need to hurry and find something."

I fall backwards onto her bed. "Ow!" I get up when instead of landing on the soft mattress I fall back on what feels like a box. I look towards the bed to see two large boxes sitting on top.

"What's in these boxes?" I asked Wednesday.

She walked out of the closet and opened one to see the black dress we saw the other day. I quickly open the other hoping it's what I think it is. "Yes! It's the dress I wanted. Who gave these to us." I look to Wednesday but she shrugged.

Thing tapes on the box to catch our attention.

"It's was you?" Thing nods. I pick him up and start kissing his hand. "Your the best! Have I told you how much I love you Thing?" He hides under the pillow getting shy from all the affection.

"How'd you pay for them?" Wednesday asked. Thing hold up five fingers making me laugh. "Five finger discount, of course."

"Thing don't look. We need to hurry the guys are waiting." Thing turns around as we step into the closet to change.

Walking down the stairs we see Tyler and Leo waiting. I smile as Tyler tell Wednesday how beautiful she looks which makes her blush. I smile turning to Leo who's already starring at me.

"I didn't think you could look more beautiful than you already were." He pulls out a red rose handing it to me.

"Keep up the sweet talk it's working." I smirk at him grabbing his arm in mine.

I spot Eugene with a backpack full of supplies walking passed us.

"Hey Eugene where are you going?" I say.

"Oh ugh I'm staking out the cave." He replied nervously when Wednesday came to join our conversation.

"You can't go by yourself it's dangerous. Wait for us
tomorrow and will go." Wednesday spoke.

"You could come to the dance with us. I'll save you a dance." I smile at him.

He blushed at my comment. "It's okay I'll just find something else to go."

"If you change your mind you know where to find us." He nods at me before I turn to walk into the dance.

Wednesday and Tyler go in first as I pull Leo to a stop. I break the rose stem in half to put the rose in Leo's suit pocket.

"Now we're ready to go in." I say walking into the dance side by side.

The music is blasting off the walls as students dance on the dance floor having a good time. I mentally prepare myself putting on my game face ready to show Xavier he made a mistake. I look and feel hot and no one not even seeing him with Bianca will ruin my night.

We walk further into the dance and I'm instantly meet with stares. I stand next to Leo but we come to a stop when I see Xavier and Bianca starring at me with their friends behind them whispering. Xavier jaw clenches but before I can question why Wednesday and Tyler come to stand next to us adverting my attention.

"Hello girls. What a lovely surprise." Thornhill says as she comes up to us.

"Ms. Thornhill. This is Tyler-" I tune out there conversation when I feel Leo stiffen beside me when he sees Thornhill.
