Kai's POV:
"i-i-i-" I stammered. Skylor giggled. "well for someone like you, I thought you'd have kissed a million girls before me" I blushed "n-no. You're the first one" but I think she said "And I'll make sure it'll be your last" muttered under her breath. "sorry?" I tried to make it clear, she smiled and shook it off "oh nothing kai"
There was an awkward silence between us. Just then I heard a loud crash and an alarm outside. I got to my feet immediately. "what was th-" lloyd crashed through the glass window. "what the fuck?!" I exclaimed. Jay opened the café door and ran to me, "lloyd? Is he-" lloyd got up. He had a few cuts here and there and a bloody nose "I'm OK kai. Oh hey skylor" At first skylor was as surprised as me when lloyd crashed in, but she smiled and spluttered a hi. "what's happening jay?! Where are the others?!" I shook jay hard. Jay pushed away, "well, the bank got robbed and guess what, it's harumi""I thought she was dead" " I thought so too. But I guess I was wrong" lloyd said quietly. Jay nujeded be, "it's a touching subject" he whispered.
" we have to fight back, and I'm coming with you guys" skylor said. I looked her in her eyes, "yes, we should fight back. But you're got coming with me skylor. It's not safe. And you know what harumi capable of right?" Skylor nodded a bit half-hearty.
I took her hand and gave a reassuring smile, she kissed me on the cheek. I blushed but i could feel jay snickered behind my back.
Lloyd pulled out his phone, I smirked "are you gonna call harumi and ask her where he is?"
Lloyd scowled, "hate to break it to you but no. I managed to fasten a tracker to harumi before I got thrown three blocks and interrupted your little 'date' with skylor" grinned lloyd sarcastically.
Jay laughed. "can we please focus guys" I raised an eyebrow.
Then Lloyd's tracer started beeping, "she's just downtown. If we go by foot I'll be too late." He called pixel through his earplugs, "pix? We need backup" pixel answered, "affirmative master lloyd" lloyd grinned. "sending coordinates now pix," I interrupted, " but I already have my bike" lloyd sighed, " this time, we go big. We can't let harumi escape." "on the bright side, pixel just finished our new vehicles " Jay said positively.
Jay's POV:
After standing awkwardly in the street for a few minutes, I heard faint engines. "hey guys, is that what I think it is?"
