I guess he noticed me coming because he stood in front of me with a welcoming smirk, almost like he knew me?
"Ray! hey! how are you?" he said, pulling me into a tight hug. i pulled myself out of the hug and continued, "wait.. how do you know me?" i looked up, matching his almost confused gaze. "wait, you seriously don't remember?" i shook my head, confirming i didn't. "oh, well. i met you and Wednesday at a couple funerals, remember? we were playing hide and seek..?" almost like a light struck inside my head. "Oh! xay!" i smiled slightly, pulling him into another hug, this time more comfortable.
my head turned towards the raven painting, "whats this supposed to be?" he laughed slightly, "i would tell you but its a surprise to everyone.." he winked. "Hm, alright." i turned around on my heels, "well its been nice seeing you, i have to go now" i smiled. he smiled back and turned back to his painting, picking up his paint brush.
as i'm walking towards Wednesday and Enid i feel a pair of eyes on me, which i assume to be Bianca's as i flip around to see her eyes intensely on mine, scanning every inch of my body. she smirks as i hear my name being called by Enid, i walk towards her, ignoring the almost creepy confrontation i just witnessed. we continue the tour until i decide to depart from the girls, i continue to explore, until i hear something. "RAVEN!" and i feel myself being tackled to the ground, and everything went black.
i opened my eyes slowly, and see a boy hovering over me, "welcome back" he smiles and sits down as i lean up. "what happened?" i rubbed my head and continued. "how did you know to push me out of the way?" he smiled, "instinct?" i laughed, "or maybe you followed me, hm?" my eyes landed on his, "i- okay maybe." he laughed "but people have been saying crazy stuff about you, i just wanted to make sure you got to your dorm okay." i smiled.
"but... it seems you had other plans, hm?" he laughed and let his eyes fall on me one more time before standing up. "you do look different." i said leaning my head up. he turned around and smiled, "what happened?". "puberty, but you too raven." i shook my head and laughed, "not really but okay.". he laughed along. "see you around?". "yeah, sure." i nodded my head and watched him walk out the door.
