Hidden Feelings

Chapter 28

Brooklyn stared at her used to be lover with tears in her eyes. He sat beside this gorgeous girl. They looked so happy together. To an ordinary person, Brooklyn would just be assuming but she knew her man and the way he was looking at that girl, she knew they had something going on. He was only supposed to look at her like that but it was obvious she had been replaced.

She stood across the street and stared a hole into his face. His best friend finally recognized her and tapped Luke on the shoulder. Luke looked up and his jaw dropped.

Brooklyn blew out a deep breath and and did her model walk across the street. All eyes were on her and at that very moment she knew that everyone admired her and everyone knew she just wasn't the same basic bitch from the grimy streets of brooklyn.

"Is that my bitch Brook?" Her best friend Kelsey yelled. With a hair flip Brooklyn replied, "More like Queen Brooklyn!"

The two girls enjoyed a long hug before the rest of her old crew all joined in for a group hug, minus Luke and his new bitch.

"Oh my god, Brook, you look amazing!" Kelsey told her.

"Thank you, Kels. It was hard to get to this point but I did and I'm proud of myself." Brooklyn said.

"I proud of you too. What made you come back to the slums?" Kelsey asked.

"I missed you and everybody else and I was at home alone and realized it was only 11 something so I decided to come. Can i stay at your house for the weekend?" Brooklyn said.

"Of course you can stay, you know you're welcome. I have some shit to tell you!" Kelsey said.

Brooklyn nodded.

Amerria had to think of an escape plan and fast. She looked around the room BJ had her stored in. She began to snoop around. She came up with nothing.

She walked into the bathroom inside of the bedroom. She noticed the bathroom drawer was cracked open. It wasn't like that last time she had been inside of the bathroom. She opened the drawer on up. It had and unplugged house phone in the drawer.

"This shit is creepy" She whispered lightly. Even though it was, this could be her only chance out. She just had to take the risk of unplugging it and using it.

She closed the bathroom door and locked it. She plugged the phone into the phone jack and the she picked it up to see if she heard a dial tone.

She waited a second and then the beeping started to happen, she was so happy it worked. She quickly dialed 911.

"911 What's your emergency?" The operator asked.

"Um, I have been kidnapped for the past couple of days and I just found this phone but I really need help and I'm pregnant, come save me and fast. I'm so scared that he will kill me. I don't know where I'm at but I need you to save me. I have to go because it's almost his time to check on me but get here and get here fast." Amerria said all of this quickly but she said it so that the operator could have understand her. Then she hung up the phone.

Amerria unlocked the bathroom and went and sat on the bed. She was gonna sit here and wait because she knew help was on the way.

Cayden was very confused as to why Merri wasn't answering the phone. He was gonna ease his mind. He pulled out his phone and booked a flight. He was going to New York to check on his women and child.
