Hidden Feelings

Chapter 6

*2 months later*

Amerria sat impatiently in the noisy coffee shop. She had been waiting on BJ to show up for almost a hour. They had made it official almost 2 months ago but lately he had been acting shady. He was always late to dates, rushed her off the phone, and didnt want her around his friends.

If some shit was going down, Amerria would drop him like a hot cake. Just because he was her boyfriend didn't mean a damn thing. She didn't have any deep feelings for him so if they broke up she wouldn't lose a wink of sleep.

College life had really woken Amerria, Jazlyn, and MiKayla up. It was nothing that they had expected. They thought it was all about the parties and fun they would have but it was much more. They were learning responsibility and how to fend for themselves. A ring from her phone brought her out of hrr thoughts.

It was a text message from BJ telling her he would catch up with her later. Amerria was livid. She has wasted precious time waiting on him when she could have been working on her design project.

She quickly grabbed her coffee and stormed out of the coffee shop. She speed walked to her dorm room. When she walked in Jazlyn was on her laptop and MiKayla was blasting music in her headphones. Since it was Saturday they had no classes and decided to chill in their room.

When Kay finally realized that Amerria had got back into the room, she took out headphones.

"Merri, please pick me out a outfit to go to this party tonite." She said. She loved Amerria's swag and with this being a big party she had to look A1.

"What party??" Amerria asked. She had no idea that there was gonna be a party but then again she didnt associate with people to know. Kay being a future actress heard everything.

"The girl down the hall named Trina having a party for her birthday and imvited everybody." She replied. Amerria knew that most of everybody would come because Trina was the college ho. If she wasnt giving head, she was having threesomes. Amerria didn't really like Trina but she couldn't miss this party.

"I'm coming too, shit BJ acting mental so I'm gone go have fun!!" Amerria said seriously.

"Awe hell bad bitch Merri bout shake her ass tonite!! Turn Up!!" MiKayla said getting hype for no reason.

"Ion bout shaking my ass..." Amerria said. She didnt really like dancing infront of people and plus dancing was Jaz's thing.

"Well shidd I'm bouta shake my ass on somebody man!!" MiKayla said twerking. Jazlyn wasnt paying attention to anything they were talking about she was to busy trying to pick music for the dance she had to do in her class on monday. She didn't plan on going to the party so everything they were talking about was irrelevant.

Amerria picked herself out some bleached, extra ripped high waisted jeans, a navy blue crop top and so navy blue spiked gravity wedges. She picked MiKayla some black leggings with white crosses on them, a white bandeau, and some white open toed pumps.

Amerria and Kay walked into the party turning everybodys head. That's what bad bitches do. Amerria was showing off her cute little belly ring. They walked through the packed party trying to see how all was there. When MiKayla spotted BJ hugged up with some girl in the corner.

"Yo Merri look at BJ and that girl! I'm bouta go fuck him up! Thinking he can fuck with my best friend and shit, this nigga must don't know who you are!!" Kay spoke angrily. She wasnt bout to let no nigga play Amerria and she watch it happen. MiKayla had been cheated on and she knew it wasn't a good feeling.

"Oh don't go off, We gone party and shake our asses on somebodys men. Best believe this nigga gone get his." Amerria said pulling Kay back. She wasnt one for drama and didn't need to go off on a nigga she didn't really have feelings for.

When they got done scopeing him out they went to dance. Amerria was shaking what her mama gave her and Kay was beside her doing the same thang, they had no worries.

Meanwhile back at the dorm Jazlyn was skypeing Cayden. He kept asking questions about Amerria but Jazlyn wouldnt tell him shit. She wanted him to see Amerria for himself. It might take him years to see het but he eventually will.

Next week Amerria and Jazlyn were going to Texas with Kay for Thanksgiving. They didn't wanna go back to Florida, they wanted to explore and the best way to do that is to go to a whole different state.

The call was cut short when Amerria and Kay came back into the room. It was strange because it was only 12:15 and they were already back.

"What happened?? Why yall back so early??" Jaz asked.

"BJ was hugged up on some girl and I shot his punk ass down." Amerria said with sass in her voice.

"Oh where he at we bouta fuck him up!!" Jaz said livid. She hated a cheating ass nigga, she felt like if you gone cheat why be in a relationship. Niggas dumb as fuck these days.

They spent the rest of the night telling each other gossip till they feel asleep.

At the end of the day Amerria had broke up with her first boyfriend, had fun at a party and stood up for herself. Now she had no time for playing around. It was all about school now because she was determined to become a Fashion Designer and a model.
