Hidden Feelings

Chapter 4

Amerria stood in front of her floor length mirror admiring her outfit. She thought she looked gorgeous for her date. She really liked BJ. She sported a peach hi low dress with gold sandals. She refrained from looking at herself in the mirror when she heard a knock at the door. She knew it was BJ so she grabbed her clutch and phone and went to answer the door.

When she opened the door BJ was amazed at how beautiful she looked. He really liked Amerria and it was very rare for him to like a girl the way he liked her.

"You're beautiful Amerria" He complemented her. She blushed.

"Thank you" She said back. He lead her out of the door and they went on their walk to their destination. Amerria had never been on a date before so she had no idea what to expect.

They talked the whole way to where they was going. She got to know a lot of things about him.

They walked into a place that looked like an arcade. Amerria had never been to an arcade before but it looked like it was fun. BJ lead Amerria to a table that already had them a cheese pizza on it. She loved cheese pizza.

After they finished eating BJ and Amerria started playing games. He was kinda sour because she beat him at everything.

Amerria was having the time of her life with BJ. The only time she had ever had this much fun was when she was with Cayden. It felt good to experience a good time with someone else.

After they had their fun they began to walk hime. It was a silent walk but it was comfortable. Amerria would,love to do this date thing with BJ all the time. She couldn't wait to get back to her dorm so she can tell Jazlyn and MiKayla.

When they made it up to Amerria's room they stopped at door.

"I had a lot of fun BJ" Amerria told BJ breaking the silence.

"I'm glad you had fun maybe we can do this again." He said low key asking her on another date.

"Okay" Her words were cut short by him smashing his lips into hers. She had never been kissed before but if it felt this amazing then she would want to do it all the time.

As they pulled away from the kiss they stared into each others eyes. They both knew they liked each other a lot. They didn't know Kay and Jaz were looking out of the peephole being nosy.

Jaz was happy that Amerria had finally had her first kiss. She was jumping for joy actually. Cayden had recently texted her asking about how they were doing in college. She was surprised that he had tried to make contact with them.

After she cussed him out they had a conversation but she didn't tell him anything about Amerria. She wanted him to see Amerria because he would be surprised. Jaz and Kay jumped from in front of the door when they heard Amerria stick her key in. They jumped on their beds like they hadnt done anything.

Amerria walked in the room with a smile plastered on her face. She was so happy.

"What happened??" Jazlyn squealed wanting full details.

"It was amazing...." and she went on to tell them the whole story.

"Hell yea! I need me a man like that!" MiKayla exclaimed in her country accent. She had really bonded with the girls since she had been in college. She seen them like the sisters she never had.

They eventually fell asleep. Amerria with BJ on her brain. She might not have known it yet but BJ was just a distraction from Cayden. She liked BJ but she loved Cayden.

Meanwhile, Cayden was in his dorm with his roommates. He missed his two best friends, Jazlyn and Amerria, but mostly Amerria. He missed her smile, her goofyness, and the special bond they had. He said he didnt like her but he really did. He just didnt want their friendship to be ruined if their relationship didnt work.

"Yo Cay, Why yo ass got so quiet??" His roommate Jay asked him. Jay was like his new best friend. They had really bonded since college had started.

"Just thinking bout my best friends from back home."

"That's kinda gay, bruh" Jay said thinking his best friends were boys.

"Boy, they girls. They way I had ole girl last night you know I aint fruity!" Cayden said in return.

"The fuck?? Why yo best friends girls??" Jay asked. Cayden had never really talked about his life back home because when he thought about it he always seen Amerria's tear stained face. He told Jay about his friendships with Amerria and Jazlyn.

"Bruh, you talking like you in love with this Amerria chick! Aye, let me meet the other one" Jay said seriously. Cayden looked at him like he was crazy. If this fool thought he was gonna set his whoreish ass up with a girl he seen like his sister he must have been smoking.

"I aint in love that's just my best. I aint setting you up with my lil sister. You a hoe! Tf I look like??"

"Umm" Jay said back salty. Cayden dismissed the conversation and turned over and went to sleep. All he could think about was Amerria. He didnt know when he would ever see her again but he hope it would be soon.
