She looked stunning in her red blouse, black skirt, and under-leggings. Of course, she would notice me, although I doubt she knows how I feel. Sitting next to my brother and of course, she probably loves the golden boy of the family, I watched her, her cute freckles and her beautiful eyes. My leather jacket made an unusual noise as my mother's eyes flicked to me, "take your jacket off, stay awhile" she said laughing slightly.

I removed my jacket and hung it on my chair, feeling her eyes on me still causing me to shiver in delight. She was seeing me, I smirked as I sat down.

Cody glared at me and I smirked at him as I looked at Angel my eyes glowing slightly and her eyes snapped away from my gaze as she focused on her food. My eyes glided over to my little brother, glowing in piercing anger. He didn't scare me one little bit, dad was talking to Cody but he didn't hear him.

"Cody!" Our dad said sharply as Cody's eyes flicked to our old man, his face cleaning up and appearing serene and calm. I felt eyes on me again as Cody and our father spoke excitedly. Angel was watching me eyes clouding in thought as she stared at me, she was gorgeous. Ever since we were kids but she only ever paid attention to Cody. Ignoring me altogether.

"So Angel anything new with your book?" Mother asked as Angle jumped at her name spilling her drink on her blouse, she looked defeated as she didn't know people knew about her writing but mom could read minds.

"Excuse me... I have to go clean up-" She said biting her lip as she stood up rushing out of the dining room, I looked at my mother who looked confused.

"No one knew mom" Cody said and my mother's mouth fell into and 'o' as the swinging doors shut.

"I will be right back, going to go retrieve something from my room" I said smiling gently Cody watched me eyes narrowed but he remained sitting down.

I followed Angel's scent to our guest bathroom, the sink was running and I knew she wasn't using the bathroom. I opened the door, startling her again and pretending that I had not realized she was in there.

I closed the door, closing her in with me my eyes studying her nervous form. She didn't know I was Dragoking, but honestly I was glad she didn't, she gasped as I laughed slightly stepping forward and she flinched. I froze, frowned and looked at her sadness poured into my brain as I stepped back.

"Are you afraid of me?" I asked and she shook her head gently, as I gently rested my hand on her chin making her eyes meet mine and she frowned.

"I wanted to help you clean your blouse, it looked like the drink did some damage" I explained looking her in the eyes as she shrugged.

"You look absolutely stunning" I complimented, lifting her onto the counter so I could help her get the stains out. She stared at me confused eyes guarded.

As I got a hand cloth wet the on person I didn't want coming knocked and came in, "Angel I-" he froze when he saw me eyes narrowing in anger.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Cody asked venom in his eyes and voice his body was stiff and Angel gulped slightly in fear her eyes flicking to Cody in confusion.

"I am helping Angel get the stain out of her blouse" I said honestly, my demeanor calm and collected. Cody did not stand down, his jaw clenched slightly as he looked at Angel.

"Let's take you home, you're tired and have work tomorrow" he demanded and her brow furrowed as she opened her mouth to speak.

"Now Angel!" He said raising his voice slightly making her flinch and she hopped off the counter behind me, only thing was my back was to her and my front to my ass of a younger brother, My amber eyes glowing in a silent rage.

"Bye Damian..." Angel said as she walked around me head low in slight fear as she scurried out of the bathroom.

"Stay away from her" Cody said his eyes narrowed at me angrily and I put my hands up in defense as he turned and stormed off. 'Child' I said to myself.
