Angel's PoV

Song- You're Beautiful By James Blunt

I opened my eyes looking a white ceiling, the room smelled of medical supplies and clean, it was weird. I looked around noticing I was hooked up to wires and machines. I was in the hospital. My arms and legs ached horribly and my eyes burned slightly as I sat up and looked around fully, seeing Damian in the chair next to my bed. My eyes studied him as he slept in the chair his arms were patched up and he had a wicked bruise on his chin and his eye, my stomach dropped when something else had caught my eye it was me, still laying on the bed out cold and anxiety spiked in my stomach.

Seeing me hooked up to all those tubes, wires, and machines made me sick to my stomach and tears sprung to my eyes. I knew I was still alive as the heartbeat monitor was beeping a higher rhythm than it was before, motioning that my body could feel the anxiety and doctors burst in worried.

Damian shot awake and looked around confused I watched as they studied me then the machine, and the hummed I could hear them talking and muttering amongst themselves.

"Doctor... Is she waking up...? Its been a week now" Damian asked eyes worried as he looked at my body and I sighed looking down.

"Not yet son, give her time she took quite a blow to the head" The Doctor said mouth drawing into a line.

"But... Doc its been a week... What about the animals at her clinic... How will they fair if she's in a coma any longer" Damian asked eyes starting to tear up slightly as I crawled off the bed and went to put my hand on his arm but I just fell right through him, I squawked in surprise as I fell onto my knees. I would have expected to at least hold solid against people like I do everything else.

I grumbled in annoyance as I sat on the hospital bed putting my hands on my chin and elbows on my knees, I grumbled incoherent swear words as I watched everyone leave and looked at Damian who was watching my sleeping form.

"Oh... Damian how I wish I could reassure your worry right now..." I hummed sadly, but there was no way to communicate to him or anyone in this form.

I watched as Damian's parents and Cody came in, and my heart rate picked up again in anger and I jumped up in slight fear. Crystal and Duncan both look over at my body worried as Cody had an unreadable yet snide look on his face, Damian's eyes narrowed at his brother and he stood up quickly stepping in front of the bed where I lay protectively.

"Mom... Get him out of here..." He said lowly eyes narrowing at Cody, and Crystal looked confused as she read his mind and her gaze snapped to Cody who smirked in victory.

"Duncan... We should visit another time..." Crystal said lowly to her husband as she looked at my body sympathetically and hummed as she looked at her oldest.

Duncan and Cody were already gone but she looked at her son, pride glowing in her eyes as she brushed the hair out of his tired face.

"I am so proud of you Damian... I never thought of you as the villain just be careful okay?" She chastised and he nodded gently and sat back down making sure to keep an eye out for anyone who would want to hurt me.

Damian had just revealed to his own mother that he was Dragoking and showed his mom memories so she would believe him when Cody was the 'clear' favorite in the family. I stared at him quietly as he sighed and looked at my form.

"I miss you Angel... It's been a week... Please come back to me... The Fox cub needs you too. She isn't hurt just needs you" He reassured as he put his hand on mine and I could feel the warmth, I smiled looking at him now knowing he would wait. I want to wake up, just don't know how to.
