"Mom, i told you, magaling na'ko," i sighed heavily, i'm having such a hard time convincing my mother that i can be discharged by now, but she wouldn't listen.
"Not yet, Vince, ang kulit mo nanaman," my mother sighed, obviously running out of patience. "Mom, two weeks na 'kong nag-papagaling, can't i just go home now?" pag-pupumilit ko. She shook her head, "Vince, do you think your mother is stupid? i know what you're planning to do, hahanapin mo ang asawa mo." She said, raising an eyebrow at me.
Agad akong natigil at naupo sa dulo ng kama ko, sumimangot ako, alam kong wala na 'kong magagawa pa para kumbinsihin ang nanay ko.
But these past few days, i know something is up, may pinag-kakaabalahan ang nanay ko, i don't know, pero hindi maganda ang pakiramdam ko. Melody was gone, she was nowhere to be seen, i know what my mother is trying to do, i know her damn well.
"I'll leave you now, may mga kailangan pa 'kong asikasuhin, if you need anything, nasa labas ang mga tauhan ko." My mother said before leaving my room.
I was thinking of how to get out of this hospital, when an idea popped in my mind. Now i wonder where is my doctor...

I woke up at the sight of my mother and my doctor talking, saglit akong sinulyapan ng doctor bago ngumiti sa nanay ko, tanging tango lamang ang isinagot ng nanay ko bago tuluyang umalis ako doctor. My doctor looked at me before mischievously smiling.
"Your doctor said, you can go now," mom stated, mukhang labag pa sa loob niya 'yon, i smiled at her. "I'm telling you, Vincent Aidan Lopez, subukan mong gumawa ng kalokohan at ibabalik kita rito," pag-babanta niya, i chuckled before getting up.
Of course, i'm going to pack my things, excited na 'kong umuwi, or shall i say, hanapin ang asawa ko. God, i miss her.

Someone's POV
I wonder how he is, it has been years.
I miss him.
I smiled as i remembered that we'll be seeing each other again for the next few days. Thank god his mother still remembers me. She had always been nice to me.
It was just tragic, how we separate ways, but it's fine now, at least our paths will cross again.

Vincent's POV
I sat in the dining area, hindi maganda ang ekspresyon na nakalagay sa mukha ko ngayon. I knew my mother was up to something.
Tanging ako lamang ang tao rito, mom texted me that they'll arrive in a few minutes.
Nilabas ko ang phone ko at nilibang ang sarili ko, i saw Calix's message popped on my screen.

Agad akong napasimangot sa text niya, ngunit mas lalo pa 'kong napasimangot sa sumunod niyang text.

I laughed loudly when he blocked me, foul kasi.
I was interrupted when my mother entered the dining area, followed by a tall and slim woman who has long black, straight hair.

I know her very well...
"Vince, care to greet your visitor?" my mom smiled at her, of course, she smiled back!
"Mom, what the heck?" agad na nangunot ang noo ko, "that's not how you greet a visitor Vincent," my mother said, almost losing her patience.
"Have you forgotten who she is? " my mom said, looking at the woman.
How can i? how can i forget her? how can i forget the woman who broke my heart years ago.
"Speechless, huh?" the woman said, "don't worry, i'll introduce you to my son, ija," my mom smiled warmly at her.
"Vince, this is Selene Arellano, your ex, or should i say," my mom trailed off, "fiance," she smiled after finishing her sentence.
Fiance?! What the actual fuck?!
"No, alam ko ang plano mo, i won't marry this woman, geez." I rolled my eyes at the woman. "You two just need time to get along, why don't you give it a try first, Vince?" pag-pupumilit ng nanay ko.
"Besides, you're still not married," dugtong ni Selene, "yeah, i may not be married at the law, pero alam ko sa sarili ko na isang babae lang ang papakasalan ko, and it's not you." I said before leaving them behind.
Rinig ko ang pag tunog ng heels niya, she followed me. "Just give it a try, one last chance, Vince," she said, trying to stop me from leaving, "chance? that's bullshit, Selene! ilang chance ang ibinigay ko sa'yo noong high school?" i hissed.
"Listen here woman, hindi kita papakasalan, sa ayaw at sa gusto mo o ng nanay ko, i love someone else, and that someone's name is Melody." I stated before entering my car, leaving her there.
Isa lang ang asawa ko, mananatiling si Melody 'yon. No one can replace her.
