Feeling better than he had in the last two months Kenny got up and showered. He felt refreshed by the water. Wondering how long has it been since I did this? Dying every night he got a fresh start as if the previous day didn't happen. He didn't think much about taking care of his body when it would wake up rejuvenated anyway.

He stepped out wiping the fog from the mirror. To check his appearance. He looked much better today. His face wasnt sunk in and he had some light in his eyes again. He smiled. His gappy toothed grin. Maybe today was going to be a good day!

Kenny got dressed and walked out to the kitchen kissing Karen on the head. She said "I'm glad you're feeling better." He replied mhm. Grabbing a pop tart and his bag before strolling out the door. Maybe if he got there early he could catch the goth kids.

Kenny strolled through the snow the bitter chill would have bothered him any other day but he finally felt good about something. He munched down his pop tart pulling his hood down over his face against the harsh wind. The street was still quiet at this point. He knew he would at least be able to catch Firkle and his new love interest. He chuckled to himself. They were actually cute together. Polar opposites just like him and Butters.

He pulled up to the school scanning to see a familiar black shape slumped on the stairs. He gleefully ran over to it. Only to find Firkle kissing Ike on the back steps. He snickered to himself. "Sup Kindergoth, Conformist?" They both jumped at the sudden presence of the boy in the orange parka. "Woah dude you look way better than yesterday! Did you sleep well?" Ike asked Kenny threw his head back laughing "Yah like the dead!" Ike looked confused but Firkle seemed to really enjoy the joke giggling.

Ike looked puzzled at Firkle but enjoyed the rare sight of him genuinely laughing. Kenny sat with the two of them for a bit chatting. They reminded him so much of his own relationship. One seeming weak and feeble the other strong. Kenny was a perverse minded kid that grew up too fast. Butters however was the picture of sheltered innocence. Despite this he could be even stronger than Kenny in his resolve.

Firkle seemed like he was the "pervert" in this relationship. A dark kid that thought mostly of despair even having a criminal record at his young age. While Ike was the perfect preppy popular jock. He had quite the dark experience however. It's probably what drew him to Firkle as no one else could begin to understand the depth of fucked up that Ike lived with since a young age. Kenny didn't often think about how they had to save him from the teacher that took advantage of him in elementary but he knew Ike still held tight to the experience.

The three talked and laughed like nothing else existed in the world until the other goth kids began to come around the corner. Firkle shot up from his seat next to Ike. Kenny turned to see Henrietta rounding the corner. He looked back at Ike. Motioning to wipe his face. Ike's eyes got wide he rubbed his jacket sleep desperately trying to get the color of Firkle's lipstick off his face.

Henrietta paused seeing both Ike and Kenny with Firkle she raised an eyebrow. Kenny stepped up. "Sorry I brought him. He asked me to since his brother was being a dick." Which on any day wasn't necessarily a lie. "Whatever." Henrietta rolled her eyes lighting a cigarette. Ike breathed a sigh of relief. And put a hand on Kenny's shoulder as if to thank him. "I'll meet you inside Ike. Get to practice" he called out behind him. With that Ike turned around and walked into the doors of the school.

"Good the conformist is gone. Look we need to talk. I think we figured out your little problem." Henrietta blew smoke into Kenny's face as she spoke. He nodded and sat back in his original spot on the steps.
