Purgatory (Butters X Kenny)

Chapter 19

Kenny sauntered home knowing he had time before the scheduled dinner with Butters parents. They did it twice a week at Linda's suggestion. Kenny was the only person that would miss Butters as much as they did. Kenny did like Linda. She may have married a closeted asshole but she was an amazing cook.

Kenny walked into his house sighing to himself at the sight of both his parents still passed out drunk over the floor of the living room. "Butters dad isn't the only asshole father here." He muttered "Be nice Ken" rang in his ears. He sighed just stepping over the seemingly lifeless bodies to get to the bathroom. "Ya ya ya Butters your dad is still worse!" He muttered under his breath.

While Butters did agree with him he tried to see the best in everyone always. "Not very nice." Hissed into Kenny's ear. Kenny reached the bathroom door sighing "Fine I'm sorry!" He directed the comment upward as if to prove a point. Pulling the bathroom door closed behind him as he began to get ready.

Kenny didn't have a lot of nice clothing. What he did have he didn't wear often. He always tried to look semi nice for Mrs Stotch. He liked her she was quite the smoke show when they were younger. Kenny bit his lip smiling thinking back to when they were young and she would kiss the kids boo-boos. "You grew up to be hot just like your mom!" He called out to the voice. Now that he knew it was Butters he felt the need to tease.

"Oh geeze Ken!" The voice stuttered back. Kenny giggled to himself picturing the rush of red that would be overtaking Butters cheeks. He held up two shirts looking them both over. "Hmmmmm" he hummed 'white or black button down? Maybe he should wear a sweater?' Kenny thought hard. He was not good at this. "The black one." The whisper called out. Nodding his head "thanks!" He stated sauntering off to his head to lay out the clothes

Once he was dressed and satisfied with his seemingly good choice in outfits he stared in the mirror. "This is it! I have to do this just right." He nodded reassuring himself. He grabbed a jacket and ran toward the door. He smacked right into Karen who was yawning at the door of her room in the hallway.

Her eyes got wide. "Wow Ken you looked great!" She said smiling up at him. "Where are you going?" Kenny smiled back to her "Thanks I've got a dinner date." She frowned at that. She always liked Butters. He was good for Kenny. She crossed her arms glaring at him. He chuckled patting her head. "Don't worry it's with Leo's parents!" He said still laughing at her. All the emotions dissipated from her face. "Oh! Good." She smiled and pulled him into a hug. "Don't be out too late Ken!" He hugged her tightly. "I will be back as soon as I can. I promise"
