Kenny laid in bed staring at the ceiling his mind raced, tears lightly stained the pillow beneath his head. 'Why would Butters be so upset. It's not like he didn't do the same thing?' he thought to himself. "I don't understand!" He shouted slamming his fist down on the bed, his face clenched as he closed his eyes.

A faint whisper circled his head "shhhh it's ok." Compelling him to rise up from the bed he looked toward the door but Karen wasn't there. He looked confused. He was delirious from lack of sleep. "Great now I'm hearing things!" He threw his hands in the air and fell back on his hard springy bed. "Why was it ok for him to do but it's not ok for me?" He asked softly curling into himself beginning to sob again.

The siren song once again curled and twisted it's way into Kenny's ears. "It wasn't on purpose." It cooed at him barely a whisper over his gentle sobs but he still heard it. "What?" He sniffed out. "I....I don't understand." He laid there waiting for the soft voice to lead him away from his thoughts. Slowly it drifted back. "I would never do that you you Ken. It was an accident."

Kenny brought his head up from the pillow. "Please!" He begged at the ceiling. "I don't understand. I just." His voice dropped off. He needed to talk to Butters. How could he do that now with Butters new rule. His thoughts swimming through his head made him feel sick. 'I need to get out of here' he thought. He looked toward his alarm clock. It hadn't gone off yet. 'I guess I could go into school today.' he shrugged his shoulders and got up from his bed.

Kenny noiselessly pattered over to his dresser. Slipping on some jeans and a t-shirt. He pulled his orange parka on grabbed his shoes and tiptoed out the door. He didn't want to wake Karen. 5:30 am the time on his phone showed as he glanced toward the door. I guess I'll just get there early. He glided through the living room past all the empty bottles and the sleeping form on the couch. Rolling his eyes as he reached for the door knob.

The second the cold hit him he shuddered. Why the fuck was it always so cold here. Kenny grimaced as he locked the door. He turned around to see his car wasn't in the drive way. He slapped his forehead recalling "Oh ya. Fuck." He begrudgingly put his hands in his pockets as he made his way off the crumbling porch.

It was quiet in the town. The sun was slowly starting to peak through trees and around buildings. The snow was blinding in the light of the sun but he didn't mind. The fresh air smelled good even if it stung in his lungs. He remained alone with his thoughts as he walked through the mostly barren streets.

He glanced down alleyways and shuffled past still closed businesses. Following where his feet lead him. Cursing under his breath lost in his own mind. When he looked up he saw the doors of the school. "Shit. I shouldn't have come here." He shrugged "Whatever" he made his way around the back of the school to sit on the steps. The goths always sat there to smoke maybe he could get a cigarette off of one of them.

His head hung low as he pulled around the corner. He heard some quiet talking and made his way toward it. When he looked up he only saw two figures. The smallest goth. Firkle? Was it? He couldn't remember so he turned to the other one. "Ike?" They were in some kind of embrace and hearing one of their names they both stiffened up away from eachother. He made his way toward them sitting down softly.

"Kenny?" Ike asked. He just stared at the figure as he was unresponsive. Kenny brought a his hands up to his hood and lowered it before looking to Ike. His eyes were puffy still glassy from crying his face was sunken in and pale. Dark circles encased his eyes. "Dude." Ike muttered. "You look like shit!" Kenny already knew.
