Purgatory (Butters X Kenny)

Chapter 15

There was a heavy ring in his ears. His head pounding everything around him froze for a moment. Kenny made no attempts to get out of the speeding cars way. He just closed is eyes and turned his head upward. "Im coming Butters." He smiled as the snow fell onto his face. Then the whole world started back up again.

The second the car made impact the street was thrown into chaos. Screaming clawed through the serene night. Craig and Tweek we're the first to arrive. Dropping into the blood drenched snow next to Kenny. His body had rolled several Feet from his original landing place. Spreading the blood half way down the block. Tweek put his head in his lap. He cried over the mangled form of his friend.

"What the FUCK! MAN!" He cried out. The tears gently falling on Kenny's face. He reached up to Tweek. Putting a blood soaked hand on his cheek. Kenny smiled. "I'll say hi to Butters for you." His body went limp. Tweek curled into the limp body screaming in agony over loosing yet another friend. Craig just held him while he held Kenny. Silence fell over the street the only sound breaking through the snow was sirens.

Kenny was far away by now. He stood up in the void smiling. "Finally!" He said. He hadn't seen Butters in three days! "Leo! Where are you?" He called out. He turned to see him. He rand toward Kenny pausing for a moment. "wait you didn't....?" He asked softly. Kenny lifted a hand in the air and placed the other over his heart. "Swear to God I was just trying to cross the street." He smiled as he said it. Butters giggled cheerfully running and jumping into Kenny's arms.

Kenny held him close once again taking all of him in. Savoring every second of having him in his arms. He pressed his face into Butters soft hair. He never wanted to pull away again. "I spoke to Tweek..." Kenny mumbled into Butters hair. Butters pulled back to look at his face. Tears welling up in his eyes. "It was an accident! I promise." Butters choked the words out tears streaming down his face. Kenny pulled him back in. "I know. It's ok." He said petting through butters soft locks.

"I never meant to leave you Ken." Butters mumbled into Kenny's shirt. Kenny just continued stroking his hair. "I know I'm not mad." He whispered softly to butters. Butters nuzzled deeper into Kenny's chest listening to him and feeling his chest vibrate as he chuckled. "Hey Leo?" He stopped. Butters hummed out "hmmm?" Kenny pulled him in tighter. Whispering into his ear. "Have you been talking to me when I'm not in here with you?" Butters breath caught in his throat. He pulled away from Kenny. "Mhm. I'm sorry I thought it would help." He looked bashfully into Kenny's eyes. Kenny snickered. "Good I thought I was going crazy Leo!"

Kenny put Butters down. They kissed for a moment. Kenny held Butters face in his hands and sighed. "I'm gonna figure this out. I will be back soon. I love you Leo!" Butters smiled in return. "I love you too fella. Tell Tweek hi for me." He waved to Kenny as he got sucked back to reality. Waking up in his bed once again. "God I needed that" he said to the ceiling.
