THE SOUND OF her door opening and closing, caught her attention.

She looked up to see young and beautiful women entering her room.

She had short brunette hair and wore a massive smile, that warmed Spencer up.

"hey, Beth told me a little about you" she said, her voice soft as she spoke, a kind smile on her face. "said you were lovely to talk to, i'm Maggie" she continued "Beth's older sister" she finished, her smile even bigger now.

"yeah, Beth mentioned you" Sue added, mirroring Maggie's smile to the best of her ability. "nice to meet you" she finished, rubbing her throat.. somehow she was still having trouble speaking.

"you okay?" she asked, generally worried.

"yeah, my throats just a little sore that's all, and i'm nervous to tell the truth" she admitted.

"sorry about your throat and other injuries, but you should come in a walk with me" she suggested, Spencer's eyes shot wide open as she said this.

To tell the truth Spencer wanted nothing more than to see how many people were here, what weapons and supplies and what the general layout of the farm was.

"i'd love that" Spencer confirmed, sitting up slowly, wincing at the sharp pains pulsating through her body, as well as the dull headache which had thankfully subsided slightly.

"here let me help you" she insisted, rising over to Spencers side, acting as a support to help pull her out and off of the bed.

"lets try keep you hidden from my daddy" she chuckled slightly at her remark, earning a toothy grin from Spencer.

As the two women headed outside, their arms locked together, Spencer took immediate notice to the few tents scattered around outside.

She noticed a small group of men huddled outside of what appeared to be a barb.

"i need to go check it out" Maggie declared "you think you'll be alright?" Maggie questioned, worrying about the healing wound on Spencer's leg.

"yeah i'm sure i can manage" she insisted, continuing on their tour.

The two girls spoke some more, Maggie sharing some of her personal experiences about growing up on a farm, that was just when their flow full conversation was out to a stop as they approached the multiple men whom were deep in discussion outside of the barn.
