I jolted awake, rubbing my head as a dull throbbing pain awoke me. It must have been hours since i'd been captured, I was laying on a hard, dirt packed floor when I heard it.

The snarls of walkers.

I eagerly looked around the room, but it was too dark, I moved forward and instantly my hand gripped around an iron bar, I was in a cell.

I had no idea how long i'd been unconscious, but I had to get out of here.

I was quick to make out the direction i'm which the geeks' snarls where coming from, I cautiously moved closer but it was short lived. As I suddenly heard the door opening and approaching footsteps, as the door opened bright light spilled into the room and my cell, I found myself shielding my eyes with my hand as I desperately tried to make out the approaching figure.

I backed myself away, into the corner of my cell.. unaware of what these people were capable of, I couldn't risk anything.

My head still throbbing from the harsh blow I took made it difficult to
make out anything.

I couldn't tell if the geeks were locked away, on chains or approaching me.

I couldn't tell how close or how far away the people were.

And I couldn't tell how many people there were.

"It's great to see your finally awake" an eerie voice spoke out, as the man neared closer to me I could make out the face of The Governor.

"What is this?" I questioned, gesturing around the cell.

"It's just a precaution." He stated, his voice was so mellow with not a care in the world it was honestly scary.
"So.." he continued "are you going to cooperate, have a good life in the town.. or be a prisoner?" he asked.

"Town?" I inquired

"Yes town." he affirmed "Woodbury"

I only glared at the man, in the time we'd met, one of his men had knocked me out and they'd thrown me into a cell and locked me away.. and he expected me to just stay in his town?

"What's the catch?" I questioned, there had to be more to this guy than he was letting on.

"No catch" He replied subtly "You may have to contribute around the town with ordinary jobs but that's all."
he concluded, tilting his head slightly as his eyes trailed up and down by body.
