I woke up with the sound of my alarm clock.

6 am. Time for my morning work out.

I'm pretty sure you're confused on why I'm going to a gym instead of school.

1) I go to the gym to relieve my stress, and
2) ITS SATURDAY.

Except, theres one detail too, of course.

I'm moving back to New York City.
Back to that high school.

Damn, now it hurts.

I wrapped a small towel around my neck and filled up my bottle with water.
I put on a tank top and basketball shorts, socks and Nikes.

I left my house, running.

I got up from my bed and started packing around 7:30 am. Mom and Dad (Topanga and Cory) said we're moving back to New York City to get Mom's old good-paying job back.

Of course, I burst at that idea.
"W-What if I see Lucas again, Dad?"

My dad smiled sadly. "You have to deal with it. You're a senior now, sweetheart."

I put on a bra, an oversized white t-shirt, some underwear, and sweatpants. I tied my messy untangled hair into a bun.

"I'm going for a jog." I said quietly.
Back to the old apartment, back to New York City, back to the old high school.

Fucking bullshit.

I got out of the house and started running.

I got a text from Farkle.

My breathing hitched as I checked it while running.

Minkus 😎: Did you hear the news? Riley is coming back to town!

I hiccuped, replying back.

Friar, Lucas💪: Not now, Farkle, I'm jogging.

Minkus 😎: you can't deny your happy.

Friar, Lucas 💪: I can't, you're right; because I'm not.

I shut off my phone and looked at the path ahead. The city of Manhattan is pretty busy, not as much at 8 am, I guess.

Riley is back.

I pushed off my left foot and ran faster.

I ran through, until I got a text from Farkle.

Farkle: Did you hear? Lucas is coming back!

I hiccuped. I hope he isn't going back to the high school too.

Riles: Not until right now.
Farkle: Isn't it a good thing? You can be friends again.
Riles: Sorry.. ain't gonna happen, Farkle.

I shut off my phone, stopping the run to stop by the cafe next to me. I walked in. Albany isn't that filled of people, pretty much.

Lucas is back.

I ordered a coffee. I plan to be here a while.

Farkle😒: We have to leave them alone to see, Maya.
Maya💕: You sure?
Farkle😒: We have to trust them to do this. It's the only way Lucas will finally listen, and Riley can finally fix back the broken Lucas we know.
Maya💕: Ranger Rick and Riles should know we're kind of betraying them..
Farkle😒: I promise, Maya. They are going to be okay.
