Escaped?

It was nearly at dawn when suddenly the whole place shook  and was followed by some explosion that it made me fully awaken everyone also have woken up from it as we all stood by the wall confused and afraid on what's happening. There are screaming that we keeps hearing from the other floor  before some explosion happen again, my heart are beating loudly inside my chest as the other kids are already crying while holding on to others. Are we getting attack or something? The loud booming sounds filled my ears as i just stared ahead of me.

“ Arin!” my ears perked up when i heard someone calling for me it was quite familiar but my minds not working properly at the moment from the shock, the person called for me again and it was then when i recognize who's voice is it. I quickly ran in front and tried to look outside the cell as there is some debris falling from above.

“ Simon!” i exclaimed once i saw him ran to my direction while holding some sword on his hand. Simon looks inside the cell before he broke off the padlock of the gate as he gesture for us to go outside. Once i made it outside Simon took a hold of my arm as he dragged me somewhere while there is some explosion happening around us. We're both barefooted and i ignore the sharp rocks that gazes under my feet wounding them.

“ Simon! What's happening?!” i yelled as i moved out the way when some rocks fell above us he didn't answer me immediately as we ran downstairs while he's still holding my arm.

“ We're escaping! Erza as well as the others started to revolt and they're trying to fight these men so we can escape. Quick we need to get to the others!” he said as the two of us ran together with the other kids, i observed the surroundings and saw the bodies lying on the ground. There are some kids lying there and i have no idea if they are still alive or not.

“ Simon!”

“ Arin!” i heard the others called for us when we get to them, Milliana gives me a hug as Simon looked around as if he's trying to find something. My eyes ran along to the crowd of people when i notice something or someone that's missing.

“ Where's Erza?” i asked as Milliana looks up at me while holding my arm. “ She went back to save Jellal.. we tried to escape earlier but the guards found us and they took Erza away from us when she put the blame on her” she said as my eyes starts widening, they tried to escape? “ What?”

“ Erza got punished and they did something to her eye!” she cried as my blood ran cold at the thought of something that happen to her, Simon and the others led us all near the docks to get in the ships but suddenly there's a loud explosion that caught my attention. The ships are now on fire as it explodes, we stared at it in shocked as i can feel the hope of ever escaping from this hell hole disappear.

Everyone started to panic as they now keeps pushing each other and a fight soon got started, Simon pushed me to the side as well as Milliana protecting us for them. My mind has stopped working as my eyes stared blankly on the shipwreck, a voice was heard that causes the fight to stop as Jellal stood at the rocks. He has a dark look on his face and there is some blood on the corner of his lips.

“ Erza has escaped..” he said as my ears perked up at the name, what is he talking about? He looks up and stare at all of us as there is a sad look on his face.

“ Erza has escaped and decided to destroy the ship and leave us here!” he said as i felt my mouth opened a bit from the shock, she did what?!

“ What are you saying Jellal?! Didn't she go with you and saved you?!” Simon yelled as the others stayed quiet, Jellal look at him as he takes a glance at me before returning his eyes to him. Some shivers ran through my body when his eyes landed on me, there was something from that look that i can't tell.
