Back again

Sigh. I'm bored, it's been a few hours since we left the station and I'm still far from my stop. My butt are starting to hurt now for too much sitting and i was also bored for not doing anything. There was nothing here that i can use as a distraction or helps me from the boredom that growing on me. I let out another sigh as i turn to look outside. The trees are blurred at how fast the train is running. While the sky are in deep blue colors and there is also some birds flying around. A memory came to my mind upon staring at the sky. It was back then..

FLASHBACK

It was a beautiful day, the sky are clear from the clouds as there is some birds flying around freely. I was standing outside, inhaling the fresh air as i continue to watch the birds. Today i don't have to sell some things since i was taking a break for a day.

I can hear some running footsteps from behind me, until a pair of arms wraps around me from behind.

“ Arinie~ can we get some ice cream? Onichan doesn't want to go out...” she said with her small and soft voice. I turn to look at her and there is a small pout on her face. I smile at her before nodding my head. She cheered for it and grab my hands and dragged me somewhere as we both get some ice cream. We both made our way under some big oak tree and just sit there. She keeps blabbing about some things and i tried to listen to everything she was saying. There is a smile on her face and a spark on her eyes while telling me some stories that Simon keeps telling her. We stayed there until afternoon before we go back at house with Kagura running inside as she calls for Simon, excited to tell him what we did today.

END OF FLASHBACK

I was brought back to reality when the train stopped suddenly. I blink for a moment before realizing that we had arrived at my stop. I quickly stood up before putting my sack on my back and taking a hold of my sword on my left hand as i started to walk behind everyone. Once i set foot on the ground, my eyes scan the whole place. There is a crowd of people with me, tightening the hold on my sword, i move passed everyone until i was now walking at the streets.

I smile at what I'm seeing, it's just like Rosemary village. Kids are running around, playing with each other while the adults are doing something. There is also some vendors trying to sell their products. I walked passed them until i reach the entrance of the village. I now can see the familiar road that i always walks upon before, back when i was a child. I walked slowly as i observed everything. There is now some trees that added and grown up. I can feel my heart starts to pound on my chest as i get nearer to the once lively village.

The wind blew on my way making my cloak dance in the wind as i continue to walk closer. I can already see the ruins that was left from the fire that happened in the past. I stopped on my tracks once I'm standing at the entrance of the old village. I felt like a déjà vu ran through me as i always do this before i walked down the streets. I always stood at the entrance and will just observed what everyone is doing. But now, as I'm standing here scanning the area, there was no one. No running kids or adults talking to each other. There is no laughter or any shoutings from everyone. It was all silent... too quiet that the only thing you can hear is the wind brushing on the leaves. My feet starts moving forward as i continue to observe everything. Memories keeps flashing on my mind when i see something that's too familiar to me. Until i reached the one place that I've been searching for, the place that became my home with Simon and Kagura when they took me in. I will always be grateful for them, for taking me in and giving me a home, making the first years of my childhood memorable before it turned downhill, and most importantly, a family. I scan the whole place, there is now a tree that grows at the center of it. The old stone walls are still standing with some burn marks on them. Tall grasses are around, and inside of the once i called our home. The memories are flashing on my mind like a cassette tape playing nonstop. My tears falls down on my cheeks and i let it run not that bothered from it. There's no one here except for me and there are different emotions inside me that i can't help it but to cry.
