Training

The next morning, Erza and i goes to Fairytail guild to have some breakfast. She was the one who's paying my meal considering i don't have money with me or any cents. Erza also has been lending me some of her smaller clothes since i have nothing with me.  I was now sitting at the guild's counter as i waited for the white haired girl that i learned the name from the girl beside me is Mirajane.

Erza has been telling me stories about Fairytail, who's who, the S class wizards and many more. My mind focused on something rather than listening to what she's saying to me as i find it boring. Maybe for me because i don't have magic, I'm not a wizard and i can't relate to those things she's saying to me or about those Saint wizard something like that. For me, there's no reason to learn about those people or anything about the wizarding world, considering i won't join any guild at all. I'm not a mage, i don't have magic and who's in their right mind will let someone like me join them. I'm not even strong. I know how to fight, but that's it. It's just to protect my self or for precaution in case something will happen.

“ Are you even listening?” i was broken on my day dream when i heard Erza's voice beside me.

The girl are looking at me with some amusement and annoyed look on her face though it seems like it is a teasing one. I straighten myself before smiling at her. She squinted her eyes at me before she let out a sigh and shake her head. The bar maid, Mirajane walks in front of us with a tray of foods and put it in front of me. The amazing smell of it filled my nose as i inhaled it deeply and i can feel my stomach grumble from hunger as my mouth watered. I instantly dig in, not minding anyone as i continue to eat the delicious food in front of me. And in a matter of seconds, it was gone. Well... Can you blame me? It's been a while since I've tasted something so delicious like that. The others didn't even know that much about cooking and it was always burned of undercook.

“ I guess you like it?” i look to my side and found Erza already looking back at me with a smile on her face.

“ It's food and it is delicious ” i said to her as the girl chuckled at my response.

The door opened and Erza's friends walk inside. They have some matching grins on their faces like they are up to something though i just continue to watch them until they reach where we are. They stood in front of us now, since Erza and me turn around from the counter with now our backs on it when the door of the guild opened.

“ Say Erza... We found some interesting job. Would you like to come with us?” Lucy asked her before her eyes traveled to where i am sitting. The girl waved her hand on me and i return it with a simple nod. Erza looks at them before turning to me and back to them.

“ Maybe another time, Arin and i need to do something. And I'm still showing her around since she's staying here for the moment though whatever job you got there, i know you all can do it” she said as i blink at her, wondering what is that something she's talking about.

When her friends all have left the guild i turn to her with a look of confusion on my face. I can't think of something that we have planned last night. Erza must have noticed my confusion as she took my hand and drag me outside again just like yesterday. But this time, it was different. She led me inside the forest until we reach some clearing with some flowers on the sides near the trees. She turn around once we both had stop from walking. I look around the place, observing the trees around us. There is some marks on them and some cuts. I furrowed my eyebrows at it, wondering what had happened to this area inside the forest.

“ What are we doing here Erza?” i asked while turning to look at her. She looked down for a moment before looking back at me with a smile on her face.

“ Well... You agreed on my offer from last night to train you. And that's what we are going to do right now. I'm going to train you” she said simply like it was some random and simple answer on such questions.
